THAT IS SUCH GOOD NEWS.

Is that on their website?

ah, I see. "Touring." He'd be dumb not to do a show in NYC. Hometown audience!

If not here, probably on LJ or something. We'll just have to keep a lookout!

Chloe, did you call Sh-K-Boom, email them, or what? I don't see anything about a spring tour on their website.

It's there in the news section, at the end of the little blurb about Adam being in the Rent movie. Easy to miss, however.

Touring?! Hmph.

We can hope that a first stop or last stop on this "tour" will be in NYC.

SD - Adam Pascal recently reprised his role of Roger in the feature film "Rent." Adam will be doing some touring this Spring. stay tuned for dates and venues, and be sure to check out his CDs "Model Prisoner" and "Civilian" in the Sh-K-Boutique!

Maybe he's "touring" NYC venues. He's gotta do ONE here.

My birthday is in the Spring. That would be such a birthday present!

Yay, touring! Since NYC just so happens to be a place with lots of great music venues, as well as an obvious place for a Broadway star who grew up in the NY area to have a concert, I'm sure he'll do at least one concert here. I mean, it would be slightly ridiculous if he didn't.
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time." --NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms

It wouldn't be ridiculous. It would be stupid.

As I recall, he was trying to line up some college concerts and so forth right before the movie happened, so it sounds like he's picking up where he left off. It would certainly be good for him to go outside the city, in terms of getting his music out there, but I can't imagine he won't be doing something here too.

*pops in after a long day of travel and unpacking*

College concert tours? DAMN. That's AWESOME for Adam. Thank God For Adam Very exciting. Siiiigh, Pittsburgh or Philly, Pittsburgh or Philly...
"Oh, good. After all, I can rub my stomach and pat my head at the same time, and I can do it with my eyes closed while whistling 'The Entertainer.' That's rhythm for you." ~ Snaps, proving that White Boys CAN have rhythm

I remember that. Someone from Sh-k-Boom posted about booking him... either here or on their boards, or something. They want a LOT of cash, though.

Outside the city, like, Halifax? No? Didn't think so.

BUT! Two of my very favourite Nova Scotian singer-songwriters are doing a Songwriters Circle in Halifax next month. I am DELIRIOUS with excitement. I was thisclose to calling my mom this morning with the news.

What will they be doing, Allie?

There are four performers altogether, and they sit on the stage (sometimes in a circle, sometimes not, depending on the set-up) and share stories about songs they've written. They each perform a few pieces, acoustically. I've seen a couple on TV, and they look so amazing. Everybody semi-famous in this province knows each other, so it's just a group of friends laughing, telling stories and jokes, and jamming.

That sounds great, Allie. I hope you get to go.

I'm off for now, tryiing to catch up on some sleep. Nice to hear some good news. Good night!

Adam should come to Syracuse. Duh. There'd be at least 3 people there. Me, skittles, and my new best friend and Adam fan that I met in the locker room. Thank God For Adam

'Night, Chloe!

Oh, it IS really cool! And (this is where I get to sort of not really name drop) I sort of know one of the performers. Family friends. I've been taught by both his mother and his sister in various things, and my mom used to baby-sit him when he was little!

The tickets are about $30, so we'll see... I'll probably end up going!
