UGH!
I just had my worst experience EVER as an audience member. It was just horrible and it had nothing to do with the show, but it seriously just kind of screwed up the whole experience for my sister and me.
When is he *not* hot while he's singing?
You guys are so pretty. I'd post a picture if I had any that made me look even remotely pretty.
Em, I stare at Raul (and Adam too) for a few seconds in your facebook pictures when I actually venture onto that site.

Aw, thanks Em. You're really pretty and I love that photo you showed me of you and Adam!
Did he do the microphone caressing, Em? heh. I like the "swallow tainted love" bit. It's hot.
What happened, skittles?
Skittles, what show? And what happened?
Aww, everyone is so pretty.
Model Prisoner has actually been one that I've always liked. I don't think there's a song that I don't like. It has taken me some time to warm up to some of them, but generally I like them all. I also like that none of his songs sound the same.
What happened?!
Model Prisoner is also home to dirty double entendre.
I just got back from seeing Wicked in DC. I was "chaperoning" my sister's orchestra field trip, so we were in the Second Tier (like the orchestra was 3 stories below us). We got there and were going to our seats, but there were already some other people sitting there. So the one girl pointed to where they were supposed to sit and we were just like "Whatever, we'll sit there." But that wasn't where she was supposed to be sitting, because the people with those seats came along after a few minutes. Finally an usher appeared (we tried looking for them the first time but couldn't find any) and told us to go around to the other aisle to get to our seats. So we did.
We told the usher where we were sitting and she went to show us to our seats. One girl moved back to where she was supposed to sit, but the other girl REFUSED to move to her actual seat. So the woman came back out and told us to wait at the front of the balconey in the aisle while she figures this out. Meanwhile, the show is starting and other people are trying to get around us to their seats at the last minute. One woman complained that it was really distracting and finally the usher told us to stay right where we were while she went to get her manager.
So the show is starting, we get through No One Mourns the Wicked and I glance around to see that the usher has disappeared completely, and shut the door behind her. We stood there for like 5 minutes waiting and she never came back. Finally during Dear Old Shiz, another usher from the opposite side of the balconey comes to seat people and my sister explained to him what happened. He goes over and demands that the girl get out of our seats and finally we sit down during The Wizard and I.
It turns out that the other girl was really only sitting in the row behind us, but she just REALLY wanted to sit with her friends and her boyfriend.
WTF!?!
Eek! That just sounds... unorganized. Wow, some people.
I can't believe someone would actually do something like that. It's stupid and very silly. Was the show at least good?
On another note, being up that high makes me scared out of my pants!

*sighs* Okay, so, catching up after neglecting this thread for a week is really difficult, lol. I've been busy with school and such *darn classes getting in the way of important things like ADAM!*
Amazing news!!! (for me, anyway, lol) I think I am actually going to be able to go see Anthony at his book signing! My friend and I are are gonna skip class, drive 8 hours to PA, and marvel in our very first Rent cast member meeting!!! Also, we are planning on seeing Raul in Company in Cinncinatti- another first: seeing someone we know live (normally we love people AFTER we see them, lol). Anyway, I am so happy, this is going to be an amazing rest of winter/spring!
Also, I finally have a pic of me online! It's from Prom last year, I had to edit all my friends out first, but yeah, that's me, lol.
Oy. I once went to a concert where someone in the row behind me asked me if I would switch seats so she could sit next to her friend, and it really pissed me off - I can only imagine how furious I would have been if I were in a situation like the one you described. If she wanted to sit with her friends, they should have bought their tickets all together. It's not your problem.

Heh. I went to the Met to see La Boheme back in November, and my school group was seated at the very very top - not a pleasant feeling. When you need an elevator to get to your seats, and there are about 4 stops before yours, it's not a good thing.
That's too bad skittles.
My downstairs neighbours are a little off. They keep locking themselves out. They asked me for a knife to break back in. Now there's a firetruck outside my house. Interesting.
Edit: from my eavesdropping, it appears the firefighters broke them back in. I don't know why she didn't call the landlords. Although she thinks they gave her their only key.

I get really dizzy up that high. Can't do it.
Yikes, Snowbird. Your neighbors sound quite, uh, interesting.
Yeah, it was good. It was my first time seeing Stephanie and she's now my second favorite Elphaba (after Idina...yeah) and last week I saw the Boq understudy and I liked the main tour Boq better than his understudy, but Robb is still waaaay better in my *completely unbiased* opinion
The ushers were unorganized and some people just have no class. These are $65 seats, it's not a movie theater.
And my sister is scared of heights, so she was GRIPPIING the handrail for dear life. I may be an orchestra snob, but sometimes better tickets are necessary!
Double post (stupid Verizon)
Yeah, my roommate and I tend to avoid them. At the beginning of the year, we'd often see the guy standing at the corner at the front (our door is the only door at the front). He wasn't doing anything, just standing there.
Sitting high up in the theater about scares the hell out of me too. There was a talent show type thing at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, and my friend was a competitor. We decided to go a few hours before the show, and those were the seats we got... scary stuff. *shudders* I hate heights.
Well, at least you enjoyed Steph!
I think I'm going to call it a night. Good night, everyone!
'night!
I was tired like three hours ago, but now that it's past time for bed I'm arguing about BBM AGAIN and not at all tired.
Gnite BG!
