Truthfully, things are probably less complex without them.

I wish my parents would find that funny, Atrias! They might've had me committed, right then and there. My mom didn't really think she was all that beautiful, anyway. Striking, perhaps.

It is. He hardly talks to me, and when he does, whatever I say goes right through him. I get the same question like ten times a day. I feel bad - good intentions and all, but... meh.
