eep. There was that regional production a few months ago that put them in more "Egyptian" looking costumes, but it was just too weird for me. ::pout::

From what I understand they want it to be conceptual.. not hit you up side the head Egypt.. Accents and hints.. because this is a timeless piece and she doesn't want it to be too Egypt.. if that makes any sense at all..

The workshop in Atlanta used very weird "egyptian-looking" costumes. I'm just really really glad we didn't have to witness Adam wearing a short skirt.

The cast will be 13 to 21.. so it should be interesting..
Mornin Amasis..
It was tacky, though, Ellie. I wish I can find the picture of Hank Stratton's costume online. There was nothing sexy in it. Adam would have thrown a tantrum ;-p.
It soinds like an interesting concept to me, what is your role Cam?
Adam throw a tantrum??? Never!!! hehehe.. I could see it now.. screaming and moaning about it.. Flailling about.. **giggles**

Guys, I have a really important interview in like.... less than two hours. I'm freaking out, save me.

Log off, Emcee. Time flies when you're online. Go away and sit down in a quiet space. Relax. Go in calm, and unsweaty.
You'll knock 'em dead - they can't fail to see your fabulosity!

That's true. We missed the 'shrieking' on his last show, too.
Hi Emcee, and cam. Good luck in your interview, Em. And Ellie's right - the best way to deal with it is to log off, go somewhere quiet and calm down. Or practice with someone, that can help too (although I assume you would have already done that by now).
I just got out of the shower. Now I need to figure out what to wear, probably iron, get my hair presentably, perfectly straight and EAT.

I third that idea.. log off go somewhere quiet and relax..
i always sit quietly by myself for a least a half hour before interviews, I use it to center and get into character, I can't be myself in interviews as people say because you are supposed to be relaxed, I have to create a relaxed guy who would be ok with not getting the job in order to do it. :) Em, you will be great!
But I don't wanna log offff.
If I'm alone and have nothing to do, I usually just focus on my nerves. I need people to talk to.
Ellie - look! You have to use your imagination, but *that's* one of the costumes.
Emcee... tsk tsk.

Well then go get ready.. then come back..
I kind off thought that might be the case
Maybe you can try to find a life size cutout of Raul and work on your dancing and interview technique with him.
Anymore Amasis??
**pictures Em with life size cutout of Raul and working on her dancing and interview technique with him**

Eh, I'm waiting for my flat-iron to heat up. ::trembles::
::huggles cut-out::
Anymore Amasis??
The image of Adam wearing *that* (as well as his accompanying tantrum) wasn't frightening enough for you?
That's the only one I could find. There used to be a whole site dedicated to the Atlanta try-out, but it's been taken down.
All right, bedtime for me. Have a good day everyone!
Somehow, I think the tantrum would be quite comical.
Night Amasis.. What can I say I am into the frightfest this morning..
Bye Em..
Penguin you still here?? Ellie??
