Always good to avoid a clinic if you can. I'm back from the Bee. I hope all are having a good night.

How was it, Penguin? Worth checking out?
I enjoyed it immensly, as many have said the book is fabulous but the score just does not stick with you. It doesn't quite click in every area, but it is heartfelt, sweet, and very funny.
I would recommend it for the book and performances. They really cracked me up.
I really should give the Bee another chance.
niaaaaa! I'm worried - where are youuuu? ::searches::

Uh oh. This means another show to see. I think I need a second job.
Maybe... no. Nia doesn't believe in 'sleep,' right?
Nia is otherwise detained
-shifty eyes-
I think you may like it better if you see it again Emcee, it seems certain they have tightened the performances, but also have trouble understanding the raves it is getting. The performances are good, and a few are excellent. Several of them however, border on annoying.
The songs and dancing are really not all that good either. It is definitely behind Light and DRS in my book.
But with all that said it had heart, I was actually sad when several of the kids got out, and I thought the Vice Principal was Hilarious!

Well, I'm to bed, ladies and gents. G'night!
G'night oh snappy my snappy.
Exactly. I think it's just getting all of those raves because it "has heart," and since Q, the show with the big, fuzzy heart was last year's big winner, suddenly that's THE thing to be... or the thing to rave about, I suppose. I'll root for the little one, I think that's great, but... I just don't see the big deal.
Exactly Emcee, it is the thing to heartfelt, but there is a certain very heartfelt show at Lincoln Center I wish was getting some more buzz. (besides the obvious best actress attention)
I think it's also a bit too campy for my taste. I didn't dislike it, I just wouldn't even consider it for best musical, if I were a voter or something.
You and Margo could go one on one to become the official Tony Voter from BWW once message boards are determined legitimate press.
I totally agree with you, well I think it deserves its nomination, but I would not vote for it.
One day, I'll be one of those 750. Just you wait...
I should probably finish college first, though!
maybe so.
You have the style and the mind for it though.
you should be.
Where are the other usual suspects? I know the kiddie went to bed, but many are missing.
It's Friday night. Maybe they have lofes.
loefs? what fun is that? they should be here with us.
They're overrated. That's why I haven't gotten one yet.
bah to a lofe, a slice ever now and then is all you really need.
A very thin one.
you just have to savor the flavor.
Yes, and then I remember it for so long that another taste is unecessary.
or unwanted.
I wish I could write music. I keep putting all this patter into lyrical form in my head but I can't make it come out in the form I want. Which, is of course, completely random and related to theatre, and therefore indicative of why I have no LOFE.
