Ellie, I'm VERY hard on everything I love because I want it to be everything it has potential for. This movie is just like anything else for me. *chews nails nervously* It has to be a masterpiece.

Those clips looked mighty damn good though Nia, and I'm the same way, I often cant bring myself to watch a movie of a book I like because I'm worried they will screw it up. Although I've gotten better lately and can see a little good in some things.

I had no plans to go online tonight, but I just had to. I have to confess that itty, bitty little clip brought tears to my eyes (good ones, Nia!). I CANNOT WAIT to for this movie.

It just looks so true to the source. "I'll Cover you" was playing over one of the scenes and just sounded so great as well. It just looks like they are trying to do this right. When the crane was swooping over them singing "Seasons of Love" I was blown away, it might be so great. It could be, as we have seen, I'm not totally sold, but it LOOKS so GOOD!

The Access Hollywood stuff... amazing. I actually had to watch it a second time since I was kind of distracted the first time thinking oh my gosh, I can't believe this is happening, it's the Rent movie! Everything looked fantastic, and I thought the choreography for I'll Cover You was cute and well done.

Wheeeeee... hopefully we'll have a trailer soon, but for now, this is enough.

And Emcee, I love the signature! When I heard that I was actually thinking hmmm, what will Emcee say about that?

I just about had a heart attack getting home tonight at 7:28. It was an awfully good segment for one of these shows (which I don't generally like). I think they benefited from having a RENThead on their staff.
