Really, Tiff? People here barely know who Idina is. (A blessing or a curse? Who knows.) Tell me how you found this out?
What have I missed while I was out having a lofe and working?

Working? As in a 'job'?
I just found this out because I met a classmate a year ago who was such a Renthead and crazy about the OBCR that her daddy actually bought her a ticket in high school to go see Rent for the day and fly home that night, and did the same thing for her birthday to see Aida. Literally, 2 plane tickets to fly to NYC in the morning, watch the show, and take a red-eye home.
And then I was at the Rent tour and met a few girls who were wearing Wicked shirts and listening to the Avenue Q OBCR, and I was totally gobsmacked. I was like, "People here know modern BROADWAY??" (Because, like, I'm one of a kind.)
One page back, nia.

Work???
*goes back to pedicure*
A pedicure that someone else is giving you, right?

That's insane! If you're going to bother going to NYC, stay there for a while!
And no, work as set construction, editorial duties for the school's lit magazine, summer camp application and the homework I'm neglecting.

Duh, Tiff. A hot shirless guy named Juan. He's an illegal immigrant, and he's hot.

Is this the creative writing camp?

Yep, Tiff. I've finally got something I'm happy with, too. It's twelve pages so far, but I haven't finished it yet.
*shrieks and runs for EVIL*
Billie, save me! Ellie, send the boy back to Mexico.

Nia -
a) Billie can't save you when he doesn't know you are, and even if he did he wouldn't care.
2) Juan is from Vancouver. He just had to escape that dreadful place, so he came to me. Apparently someone scared him away...
The wretch already sent him to Mexico - if you walk outside of unmarked factory #98754, you can hear a tortured voice singing Blvd. of Broken Dreams on repeat as he sews Nike shoes for pennies.

Tiff, at least he has Billie's music to give him hope! And I won't bother fighting with Ellie, we've exhausted the topic. I'm still right, though.

We have exhausted the topic, yes, and you're still wrong. And deluded. But I still love ya!
Yep, but leave it to Ellie to beat a dead horse. As with every other mammal.

Her mammal-beating ways are what drove Juan back to the sweatshops. They're less painful and they smell better too.

You guys are mean.
Thankfully I have BJ to mend my hurt feelings.
*extends hand for BJ to dutifully kiss*
Now, Juan - get back to work on my toes!

SOO. How is everyone else? I feel like I had something I wanted to share with you all, but I can't remember it.
It must have been really important.
Bumpity bump.

And I still don't remember.

Poor Nia, her mind is addled. As is evident by...well, we've agreed the matter is closed, so I won't go into it.
