Hi NTG, Chloe!
Chloe, glad you had a fab time at Billy Elliot. Are you generally an Elton fan? How does it compare to Aida?
Hey Ellie - yes, I've been an Elton fan for a long time, and that's why I originally went to see Aida. Billy Elliot is very, very different, though "The Letter" and "Electricity" have that familiar melodic Elton touch. However, for Aida he drew on his American gospel and pop influences mostly, and BE has a strong British feel. There's a music hall kind of song, male choirs and Broadway pastiche. As I said before, the songs aren't as important as in Aida, since there's so much dance, but the musical themes are pervasive and very important, even when in the background.

It was really, really incredible.
So NTG, congratulations! What part are you doing in Shrew? Any Shakespeare seems like quite a challenge. Don't know how lucky you'll get with Star Wars, as it seems the trailer has so far only appeared in LA and NYC, but I'm sure it'll start showing up elsewhere soon. (And I seem to remember you being down south somewhere, but I could be wrong.)

Is anyone here now? I'm about ready to DROP! I was up at 8, loading up our van and unloading boxes into our new house. UGH. We got home for the last time at 10:30. UGH. Tomorrow's the big day! But my internet will be gone until the 6th, and that sucks. I'll miss you guys!
Whee, busy tonight.
So I think I'm going to drop 12 bucks for this trailer. Insane.

Hi, Allie & Nia!
Aw, your last night in your house, Allie - are you sad? Is it bittersweet? No internet for a week?

Allie, we'll miss you! Do you like your new house?
I'm losing my laptop for a week or so on Tuesday, but I think I'll be ok. Things will be quiet here, though!
I'm gonna be so effing bored!

Aw, love! My new house is a lot smaller than the one we're in now, and I'm sharing a room with my sister. Eek! We'll see how THAT works out. We painted the whole room (which is actually the entire attic!) this morning. It's kind of a pale turquoise-ish shade, and it looks really good.
It's kind of bittersweet, I guess, but it'll be great to NOT live 20-25 minutes out of everyone's way! And it's time for a change. My mom's best friend is our new next door neighbour, and she's a blast to be around. I think it'll be a fun summer!
No internet for a week.

I'm so in love with that pose. He's a little queen, our Cuban.

Allie, I'm glad your happy. Will sharing a room be tough? When does school start up again for you?
My little Drama Queen.

I think I'd like to live rurally, way out in the middle of nowhere. For a while anyway...'twould be fun! No neighbors, no noise, bright starlight etc. Did I ever tell you about our evil neighbor who breaks into our house to use our washing machine, hangs her clothes out in our back yard, spies through the windows with her binoculars, screams at two-year-olds, is "out" every Halloween, spits smelly saliva in your face when she talks to you, kicks puppies, puts her rubbish in our bins, parks her car in our driveway and is a cantankerous old bitch?

I hope sharing a room won't be too bad. My sister has become a lot nicer in the past few months. She used to be such a bitch! I think we'll get along. The only problem will be music-related. While I love country, it's ALL she listens to. One can only handle so much Kenny Chesney.

Ellie, if I was in that situation, Nowhere would be quite appealing.
That'd be nice as long as the city was extremely close, I think. Even just visiting my relatives in the country drives me crazy, I can't imagine living there.

Yeah, Nia. She's calmed down a bit recently but she's still evil. But even without her, I'd still like to live in complete isolation, like in deepest Norway or something.

Yes, we both love Keith! We painted today, and made it through 5 CD's: Kenny's new one, Be Here (Keith!), George Canyon, Rascall Flatts, and Civilian, for me.

Ellie, does Norway have the internet? Or the wheel?
*shiver* Country.
I'd go to Norway; it's beautiful. Yes, they have the wheel.

Aw, Nia, it's not so bad! You can't tell me you don't like even one country song, can you?

I visited a convent on a school trip once, where all the nuns lived in a cage and they weren't allowed any contact whatsoever with the outside world and had to pray on their knees for eight hours a day. We were able to look at them through bars. That'd be fun.
And Norway would be great with or without the wheel/internet, especially in winter with all the snow and log fires.
