La Vie Boheme just came on, and before that was What You Own. RENT is haunting iTunes, this is too weird. It's saying "Emcee, go to the moooooovies..... go to the movies!"

You have iTunes, Emcee? Could you try to help me figure out how to work it?
Sure, I'm just about to go hop in the shower really quickly, but IM me when I'm back from away. Give me... ten minutes, I shower quickly.
Happy birthday Snaps!!

Are you back from London?!
Right! And I got to see Billy Elliot on the one night I had free - can't believe my good luck. It was terrific. I think the best way to describe it is that it has the show biz razzle-dazzle you expect from a musical, and also some of the serious emotional moments that are usually part of a straight play. It's also incredibly well staged.

Hello everyone, and welcome back Chloe! Billy Elliot sounds amazing, I've read some stuff online. Too bad the show's all the way over in London...

I still can't quite believe it - i don't travel for work that often. Anyway, of course I was very curious about the music, which hasn't always quite gotten the raves the rest of the show has. It's actually very good, but there are no big belters (either singers or songs) in the show to draw attention to the music. It's the dancing that takes center stage, but the music really provides the emotional center for the show.
I haven't had much chance to get caught up back here, except to note that I'll be taking a trip to the Ziegfeld very soon to see Star Wars.
hee. Suddenly RENT fans are turning into Star Wars fans!
I don't know what you mean, Emcee, I ALWAYS planned on seeing Star Wars. *whistles innocently*
ETA: Thanks for the welcome back, ballerina. How are you?

mm. Me too.
Who's Darth Vader again?
Hmm, I think you're going to have to do some work to pass as a Star Wars fan, Emcee. I actually loved the first movie, but gradually lost interest in the series. It might be nice to see the last one, though.
I'm so out of the Star Wars loop. heh.
I'm off, back later!
I'm very, very pumped to see the RENT trailer, and after all the Billy Elliot excitement last week, I don't know how I'm going to concentrate on work.
Bye, Emcee!

Somehow I missed this earlier, but Happy Birthday, Snaps!
Wahoo, one final exam review packet down, four more to go!
And four more days of school until I can sleep in again!
Hey guys...anybody here?
It's my first day of summer. What's up?
Yay for summer! What are your plans? Mine are to work like crazy and try to see the RENT trailer.
My whole family's going to see Star Wars on Monday, so hopefully I can see the trailer then. ::crosses fingers::
I'm going to be in a local production of Taming of the Shrew for all of June, then spend most of July in Washington state. Should be very nice.
