He was friendly, Ellie! He was like "oh, well, HI!" He said they were done shooting the movie, etc. I don't really remember it well. I got all shakey after.

I wasn't much into Billy Joel until after I saw Movin' Out, ironically.

I had to get back to my "work" right after, I was just socializing for a few minutes, but I almost fell down the steps, I was trembling so much! (After he left!)

I can see it now...

Emcee sees Jesse, and seizes the moment to say hello. However an incurable bout of the shakes sets in, causing Jesse to flee, and the crowd to disperse, leaving poor Emcee alone in a wide circle. The paramedics are called as Emcee is frozen to the spot, eyes agog and drool gently falling to the floor. As the crowd are evacuated, traffic cones are placed around Emcee.

i WILL see Rent though, its a goal- my friend said she'd take me for my bar mitzvah...but alas, no, it was not to be!

i'll be in NYC for 2 days and im seeing Spelling Bee, DRS, Sweeny, Pillowman
