Woo! Congrats, Nia! I still don't have my full license. Beginners only.

I've had a fun weekend. My friend came over yesterday, and we watched Chapters 1 through 4 of Angels in America. He's totally hooked: "When can we watch the last two?" I think he'll be over tomorrow, hehe. We went out last night, until fairly late. Then I had to get up and go to work this morning! Ugh.

I know! I've only been telling him about it since the first time I watched it! Then I was like, "What if he hates it?" But, no, we watched two more chapters than we had planned!

Where did you go that took forever and a day? Eek, that sucks...

Allie, have you read it too? The play is better; too much was cut out of the miniseries.

I love the movie version... kind of. Then someone pointed out some flaws I'd failed to notice and it was suddenly less lovely. (Never did like MLP or Patrick Wilson, though. *ducks Emcee's flip flops*)

I haven't read it yet, Nia, but I'm still looking for a fairly cheap copy! My bookstore can order it in, but it's pretty expensive. It's cheaper on amazon.ca, so I'm trying to fanagle that...

You don't like Mary Louise Parker??!! *throws heavy boot*

She sounded so flat! It was like she was reading off a cue card. She just sounded spaced out and I didn't get any depth from her portrayal.

I loved her. virtual party! Anyway, I'd love to stay and talk some more about AiA with you, but I am EXHAUSTED! Bedtime for Allie. I'll talk to you both tomorrow!

Anyway...ehm. Hello, everyone. :)

BUT I LOVE HER!

*shrug* I thought it worked. Since she's on drugs and whatnot, I don't think someone on those sorts of things would speak with much expression.

Emcee, she's still thinking for herself and ought not to sound as though she's reading from a script.

*nurses wounds*

Only if it's the non-stinging kind, Nurse Loud.

Emcee, I guess there are worse crushes. I mean, at least we're not talking about Lindsay Lohan.

Oh, sweet jesus, Lindsay Lohan.

I have a funny story about her, actually. I saw a magazine (tabloid, really) at the drug store today, and on the cover it said "LINDSAY LOHAN - My Healthy Diet tips."

I laughed and said, "HA! What's that? NOT EATING?"
