Look, a can of worms!! Nicely done, bdwaygirl.
I think maybe the blog's clock is just not set correctly. It's probably something I can fix, but the settings confuse me, so I just don't.
I haven't heard Ordinary Boy all the way through in a really long time. I always get it confused with Precious Little Meltdown.
Speaking of pure liquid chocolate: Starbucks had this new thing, I forget what it was called. But anyway, it was literally like concentrated hot chocolate. It was like drinking chocolate syrup, but worse. My roommate got one, and it was so thick, that she couldn't even finish the four-ounce cup of it without feeling sick.

Emcee, those are called Chanticos. I got it on my one and only trip to Starbucks.
1904? Chloe, I knew you were old, but really...
bdway, I'm blushing!
Thought that might jump-start you two!

The question is not how old Chloe is, but how old that computer is!
Chantico, that's it. I knew it sounded Spanish... ish. Which reminds me, Jwei just had the best description of a Raulism. He says that sometimes Raul sings, and sometimes he yelps.
I somehow missed your post, bdwaygirl. Sometimes I wonder if my refresh button is all that it could be. Hmm, can of worms - I can't think of Just Here as a can of worms anymore - it just seems like a great song. Anyway, I find myself frequently listening to the first three songs on Model Prisoner - they make a very nice set.
Ordinary Boy kind of relates to Precious Little Meltdown in that it seems to be about cyber stalking, if I'm reading it right. But it's from the point of view of the stalker rather than the stalkee.
ETA: well, I'm *definitely* older than the computer!

Nia, all the time you spend in the gutter?? I can't believe there's anything left to make you blush!
Speaking of his Raulness, did you guys see the post I made on the belly button thread? I came across a picture of him yesterday in an old magazine (very sexy one btw) and he has his pierced.
Edit: Missed your post Chloe. I had to post the lyrics to that one, cause I just knew Emcee and Nia would LOVE IT!

I don't know anything about cyber stalking.
bdway, still, those lyrics... subtle, but obscene! Am I the only one who thinks so?
I don't think Raul yelps. Yelping is what those annoying little foofy dogs do.
Wait. What? NO I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS!! Can you post it for us?
ETA - I think they're far from obscene. He coud've been FAR more explicit and graphic. At least it's not *only* about that one thing, either. He kind of made it a metaphor, I think.

JKLERSjfkjexfb/jh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BDWAY POST IT NOW
Emcee, 'it won't hurt you'... it's like an encouragement. Or maybe I just have thought too much about it.
No, Nia, you're not the only one who thinks so, but it doesn't make me blush. He's writing about something that's pretty normal, and also putting it into a relationship.
It's definitely an encouragement, but that doesn't make it obscene. Before I knew what the song was really about, I thought it was about relationship ups and downs or something. I think that's one of the lines that's definitely got a double meaning, leaning toward the non-sexual one.

Ok, I've thought about it in too guttery a sense. Oh, Adam.
Where is this Raul picture? Does he still have his naval pierced? That's F*CKing hot.
They don't close easily unless infected. So, if that's not the case, he probably does even if he doesn't wear anything in it.
*gulps orange juice*
One night, really late, etheb and I had the FUNNIEST conversation about that song, and WHY on earth it would be "to the LEFT" of you...
You guys are gonna kill me. I don't have a scanner, but I just checked his site. If you go to the press section and scroll down to Fall 2002, Show People Magazine, that's the pic. I can't really see the belly button piercing on my computer, but you can barely see it in the pic I have. When I was looking at it, I thought I saw something there, so I actually got a magnifying glass out and sure enough, it's pierced. He's so skinny in that pic!

Is that the one munk posted in that "heaven on earth" thread a bit ago? That's one of my favorite pictures... I call it "Tummy Action!" But... there's a piercing?
*examines*
I'm not sure what too guttery a sense of "it won't hurt you" would be.
I don't recall noticing any Raul navel piercing in the Hair video, but it's not like I was looking for it.
ETA: Emcee, I've often wondered about the "left of you" was all about too! "In front of you" seems more appropriate.

boo. It's that picture where his arms are all up over his head, right? I just *barely* see something, but are you sure?
If it is... *waves farewell to straightness*
Yup. It's there. At least in this pic. Looking at it again right now. Now that I know it's there, I don't really need the magnifying glass.

*cries* I can't find it!
He was never straight, Emcee.
I think I do see something in that picture now that I look. I want him.
I mean *all* straightness. That little half... gone.
I zoomed in, but it got blurry. I see something, but it's not clear enough to tell what.
He's very taken, nia. :-P
Exactly, Chloe! I was thinking harder than I should've been, and I was like "wouldn't they be... in FRONT? I mean, what kind of weirdo positioning... no." I guess... if someone was laying down, then I could concievably see left working but... okay, I'm done.

Raul has a naval ring. My day is MADE, thank you!

Emcee, you were thinking "harder" than you should've been? Oh, my.
If Raul's jeans were any lower...
