Well, *I* don't kill them. When I get them out of the pool, I'm nice to them. I bring them to the woods and put them down somewhere nice. But, usually they end up just hopping their way back to the pool.

I would've hugged it. One of my hallmates has a little turtle. It's pretty cute. My fish is... boring.

Call me crazy, but I don't want to hug dead animals. I would, however, like Adam to sing them back to life.

Tell me what you ate today. It's probably more interesting that the entire (well, almost entire) pot of mac and cheese I had for dinner. I don't even want to know how many calories I consumed. But I'll need them. I'm not sleeping until this freaking paper is done.

*resists urge to rant*

What's your paper on, Nia?

Hah! You think mac and cheese is boring? I wish I'd had that.

What I ate today: scrambled eggs, home fries, toast and coffee at the diner

soy milk and a peanut butter sandwich, followed by several hours of feeling sick and lying in bed (probably not related, but who knows)

brown rice with tofu, vegetables and teriyaki sauce

What does soy milk taste like? I've never had it.

Emcee- why does your blog say April 17th, 2005? Are we posting in the future now?

Soy milk apparently tastes very different from "real" milk, and a lot of people say that plain soymilk tastes kind of "nutty." I don't like it, so I only drink chocolate, but every kind tastes completely different, and there SO many different brands of it.

ETA - the times on mine have been screwed up since day one. It's usually just by a few hours, but I have no idea how I get to the future. ha.

Hit back, it won't hurt you
Lean in, no inertia
Bold is the love that I fight to save
Head on, no collision
Confusion, indecision
I don't believe I'm too far to be saved

Twist and turn me, bait and burn me
Smile and send me to oblivion
Breathe and bathe me, just be and save me
Know I'm just here to the left of you
And when there's only the dark
I can still see the light in your eyes

Dream on, fill me up now
I bet you know just how loud I can scream,
don't you let me go
Feed on infatuation
Swallow, just one taste of all that I am, all I have to show

Twist and turn me, bait and burn me
Smile and send me to oblivion
Breathe and bathe me, just be and save me
Know I'm just here to the left of you
And when there's only he dark I can still see the light
When there's only the dark you are always the light

In my eyes
In my eyes

I drink chocolate soy milk too - I didn't mention it in order to sound more pathetically austere.

Every time my laptop at work crashes (hums a few bars of Ordinary Boy - I'm getting almost as good as Emcee), the date goes back to January 1, 1904. If I don't remember to fix it right away, some documents end up with very strange dates. Still, it's hard to understand how you could be blogging in the future, Emcee.

Speaking of Ordinary Boy, that seems like one of Adam's stranger songs.

Congratulations on mastering time travel.

Chocolate milk is the best thing ever. When my mom buys a gallon of it, I swear my life just gets better. It's so thick that it's like pure liquid chocolate.
