cam, Ava was on as Maureen - she's the only one I've seen that really LOOKS like a Maureen, and she looks a lot like Idina. OTM did NOTHING for me - she just didn't have enough presence to really do a bang-up job with it. Great voice, though. The rest of her performance was great, and I liked it a lot, especially TMOLM. Diana Kaarina went on as Mark's mom. I saw her play Eponine! Marcus was out, though.

Diana is SO CUTE. I'm glad to see her on stage again - she's great. She swings for Maureen, I think; I'd kind of like to see that... it's certainly no Eponine.

You know, it's funny. People asked how the show was, and it's almost like I have nothing to say. My feelings, though some cast members have changed - not all, but... two or three - since I last saw it, are pretty much the same. You know, that whole issue of the cast members being very talented on their own, but the cast as a whole lacks the continuity the show needs. It's getting better, and the sparks are coming back - there's certainly more overarching chemistry with this cast than with others I've seen. But I know the show so well by now, that it's hard to really say much other than that it... was. Detailed comments from me are sort of redundant, at this point. It's holding up well, though, I'd say. And it was time for a visit.

Hey Cam and ponine - I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were a number of alums turning up in the movie.

whoops, the ad's gone. But a few minutes ago that rectangle up on the top right was an ad for the RENT movie, an animation kind of like the Sony site, with song names and one of the VO lines from the international trailer.
