Well, you know, it was very general.
You with Raul? You with the college? Me with the Adam? Adam with Raul?
possibilities, dear.
I had to call Apple this morning to get them to fix the problem. I felt like such an idiot. He was like "well, um... you placed the order three times." And I was like "NO I DID NOT!!"

My mother with the college.
aw, that's less fun.
Is it a possibility for actual college, too?

Very much so, Emcee. It's pretty, but there's literally nothing to do there. Even the closest Barnes and Noble is forty-five minutes away, and that's the same one I go to now.
Ouch. That sounds like home for me. Well, you have to like it, not her. But, spending a summer there may very well change your mind, too. It's a good way to get an idea.
I'm off to bed - good night!
We're dropping like flies!!
Goodnight!
*is lonely*
Good night, Chloe. No worries about before; I'm clearly kind of distracted, too. *pokes browser*
nia - sounds like you're not too crazy about it. But I assume you're looking at several places, right?

Good night, Chloe.
I think I'll really love going to camp there for eight days, but living there? I just don't know. There is NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.
I want to go to bed. Someone kick me so I get this thing done.
That'll be something to think about, but having spend a week is going to be better than potentially having to make the decision cold. I spent one night here, and was done. Before that night, I really had no idea what I wanted. Granted, New York was a big seller, but you can still tell so much about living at the school.
/rant.
*kicks you*
I'm boreddddd. And I can't go to sleep because there are people hereeeeeee. *stares at picture or something*
amasis, where'd you go?
amasis, where'd you go?
to the Apple discussion forum to kick some ass. *huffs*
And to see a silly new video that Craig posted about a while back.
nia, I thought you were pretty good at this whole self-discipline thing. Go get your paper done!!

amasis, I'm completely college-obsessed. There are a lot of places on my list, many of which are in New York. My parents can't pay for those, though. So unless I get a hell of a lot of money from somewhere, I'll be going to a state school.
*tries valiantly to finish paper*
Emcee, it's not like you'd be going to sleep before two anyway.
I was going to try. I have to get up early, buy my mother a present, go home for a few hours, then make it back here to meet my prospective muppet. Oh well. We're watching Harry Potter.
*yawn*
(psst, nia. Remember what I told youuuuu...) :-P
whee.

Have fun con tu DormMuppet. I'll be editing, printing, editing, printing and editing some more.
ETA- no, I don't remember what you told me. Where's that picture from?

Well, from the little you've told me so far, it seems quite possible you can get some financial aid. I wish you luck; I do think from what you've said, it would be great for you to move out of the state.
Emcee has a prospective muppet coming over? what?
I'm hosting prospective students - so, high school seniors that got into my school, and are spending the weekend to see if they want to come. My hallmate is hosting someone who likes Broadway, and asked if I'd mind meeting her. She said she likes Wicked a lot, so I'm scared. I haven't met mine yet, but I will tomorrow afternoon.
About those two schools, nia. And the picture is from Taboo rehearals, hence the clothes. But his makeup makes me weak in the knees. I forget where I got the picture, though.
I'll be gone from about 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Making a big circle of Southeastern New York. Whee. But I don't really have to babysit the muppet, so I can still play.

I'm white middle class. There is no need based aid for me.
And yes, I completely agree about out of state, but the parents do not.
Well, they said you could apply, right?
That's understandable that they'd want you close, nia. My parents were against my decision, too.
Maybe some sort of scholarships? Easier to talk about, I know. In any case, best of luck.

Yes, but if we can't pay then we can't pay. And if I get more money from other, more affordable schools that are in state anyway.... *shrug*
I think I'm going to bed. I give up on the paper. It's ALMOST done. That counts.
My parents were really concerned with distance. They gave me a radius of four hours driving distance. But, at the time, I had very focused interests, and one of the best schools for it happened to be in Atlanta. Once we really started seriously looking, they started to let up on that. I *very* seriously considered going to Atlanta, and they would've let me, even though it's so far away.
It's best to just apply where you want to, then see what happens, nia. It doesn't hurt at all to just apply, especially since online applications are usually free now.
Almost certainly counts. Goodnight!

But we have the money issue. I'm not a JAP- or a JAD, whichever.
Virus scan still running. *plops down for the long haul*
Good night, nia.
And, actually I have to go out now for a while, so it seems like Emcee will be forced to contemplate sleeping early-ish...
Mine ran for FOURTEEN HOURS. That's not right.
I know about that, but it can't hurt to try. You might be surprised. It's really only the Ivies that are so strict about non-merit scholarships.
JAP? I think you need to visit Long Island, dear.
ETA - bye amasis!
