i'm glad you got to see him again emcee! that's a great picture. hopefully this will become a more regular thing - him coming out. i don't think i've ever wanted to meet an actor so badly, except for members of the rent cast maybe, but at the moment it's raul.

ETA - Alix, maybe now as the summer winds down, and crowds lessen (and when it's not still 95 degrees at 10 p.m.) we'll start to see a bit more of him.

i knew what you meant.
i've also tried to think of things before but it never works because either i don't say it or i forget or something happens. i did write him a note. i wrote it pretty quickly that morning but it expressed it well enough without sounding obsessed i think. i just said that i was glad that i finally got to see him on stage in chitty and how incredible his performance is (not in those words), then that tick, tick, boom touches me every time i listen to it and if he signed the picture i'd really appreciate it. something like that. so i could just be like, i'm the one that left you that note and then if he remembers that will sort of convey it.

i would have if i had time but i didn't know that i was going until that morning. i want to write him another one that's like "this is what i wanted to write but i didn't have time to put it all into words." i feel like if i leave him another note that might be too weird but i'm so tempted.
