Naaah. I'm tired. I spent a while doing various things in midtown, then saw a play for class. It was fun, since we got to help out with suggestions and things.

Finally have a few moments. I'm missing my guilty pleasure, the famous flings thread. Still trying to figure out that post that said "since when is Adam Pascal straight?" but I think that was the same person who was flabbergasted to find out Neal Patrick Harris is gay.

NPH has been a bit of an enigma, I think. A lot of people are REALLY surprised that he's gay, which may just be because they often see him as equivalent to Doogie Houser. Anyway.... heh. Adam. I love when people ask that question, and then act disappointed one way or another. I missed that post, though!

Hmmm, me either. It must have gotten deleted - too much guilty pleasure, I guess, though a lot of it was just about actors who met on the job and ended up together. There was talk about how few straight men there are in Broadway musicals, so someone made a list of five, including Adam, and that's when that response came up. I wouldn't be surprised at someone's questioning it one way or the other, but the tone was more like, "of course everyone knows he's not straight," which I know is not the case.
Interesting about NPH - obviously he's a good enough actor to play whichever way he wants.

I figured the same thing. I was curious as to what may have been posted to prompt someone asking about Adam, thinking maybe it was the alledged Adam/Daphne fling. It seems like Adam's been on the "questionable" list for a while, in most cases.

Well, I have to give NPH credit for being relatively open about it. No "flings" were attributed to Adam on the thread, and I didn't know there had actually been rumors about him and Daphne.

Hah, maybe from me! I was theorizing about "The One That Got Away" being about Daphne a while back - pure speculation on my part with no basis other than song itself. Then we talked about her song "Superstar," and how you had heard it might be about Adam.
