We just need to plan a big old Adam love get together.. It would be fabulous..
thanks Amasis.. Nice to see you, although I'm heading hom enow..
Oh, and even though this is an Adam thread, I had a conversation about this guy with QM and Emcee sometime in the last couple of weeks, so I wanted to link to this post... I realize it won't work with QM's schedule, but... you know... in case Emcee and others are interested...

Yeah. I guess I just volunteered myself to be part of the Brian Lowdermilk's shill brigade. Or something.
There's a little shill inside all of us!

Brian Lowdermilk... He's gone so far since 'Elliot and the Magic Bed.' -Sniffle, tear- I had the pleasure of being in the first cast of 'Elliot,' and he and Marcus Stevens, his partner in crime, are two very awesome people.
Hey all! I miss my fellow Adam fans. Sorry I haven't been around this thread, I just can't keep up with you all! But I lurk sometimes.
Can you all do me a huge favor and post on this thread? I would really appreciate it! I miss you guys!

Ugh. This computer is soooooo slow tonight. All caught up again since leaving work. Also came across proof that Raul isn't wearing anything in his belly button. Well, at least he wasn't at the Hair concert. Damn, but it does look sexy in that picture from Show People. Oh, well.

Someone on this thread who knows his work!!! Snaps, pleasure to have you around!
Anything you'd care to tell us about the 'Eliott' production?

Hi, I'm nia. Does anyone remember me?
ETA- read back a bit on things like I should. I miss you all and I do think you can form an opinion based upon a person's internet persona, but perhaps not the individual herself unless you've really gotten to know her. And amasis, I love your signature.

Pleasure to be around, Amasis!
Wow, 'Elliot.' What an experience. I remember hearing all throughout the summer that parents wanted us to bring it back, and I don't think that we would have complained; it's now widely regarded as one of the best shows in the history of our Summer Stage program, which is now heading into its 30th season. Even when we were plagued with some awful sound problems, people came up to the cast and staff after every show saying just how much it spoke to them. That was so cool.
Oh, and all the kids loved the bed, which had a technician laying inside of it for the entire show, flapping the wings and fixing the sails and everything.
While Brian wasn't around as much as Marcus was for our rehearsals, they kept stressing the emotional connection, the profound but childlike spirit that had to be behind everything we did. That cast was probably the most friendly, professional cast I've ever been in, and it was full of middle and high school kids.
There's a recording of the entire show floating around our Performing Arts Center somewhere, and a whole lot of pictures. I'll try to get my hands on them if I can.
I love 'Elliot!'
And hola, Nia.
Hi, I'm nia. Does anyone remember me?
I'm sorry, who??! You must be a newbie. Welcome.

Yes, that's right, amasis! I am new to this broadway thing. I like Wicked- do you guys like Wicked?!?! And did you kno that Idina was totally in a sho with Adam?!?
And Snaps: thank you so much for sharing that.
What was your role in the production? Is your company the one that can be heard on Brian's web site? (He has the five sound files from 'Eliott' on it). www.brianlowdermilk.com

Snapsy, you seem like a lovely little boy. I fully plan on getting to know you better- after Sunday. *mutters something indistinct about the evils of high school theatre* (but someone up there likes be, because I have yet to get any homework this week, something that has never happened before.)

You're very welcome, Amasis. Anything to get on my soapbox for a minute.
I was in the chorus, one of the children, one of the pirates, one of the wizards, etc. Oh, for the days when my voice was still treble and squeaky and I could pass for a little kid. xD
The clips on Brian's website, I believe, are not of our company. When they recorded, they didn't use the kids. Marcus' younger sister played Elliot, and I was never quite sure why they changed things for the CD, because the girl singing him on the website was just a little bit older.
The picture on the 'Elliot' page, though, is from our tech rehearsal, if that counts for anything.
P.S.: Aw, thank you, Insomniak. -Blushes, bows- I fully plan on getting to know you kind people.

I knew I'd unblock myself from your memory if I used the correct threat tactics, amasis.
And I am ever so glad. How are things on your side of the world?
And I tried so hard to block you, too, Nia. After all that trauma with the black jelly beans. *whimpers*
Things are going quite well. I'm starting a new study which is always exciting for me. So my mood is great . Sounds like things have been crazy in your life... is it the show? Will it be over soon?
Snaps: if you do get your hands on the recording/pictures you mentioned, would you let us know? I would love to hear more of it, if I can. I really enjoy the little I've heard of his work. The songs I've heard from "The Woman Upstairs" and "The Unauthorized..." are brilliant.

Things here just went downhill a bit; my father's been telling me to go to bed, so that's where I've got to go, I guess, with 'Elliot' on the brain.
G'night everyone!
And I'll work on the pictures. ^^

aw, you leave as I get back. Bye Snaps!
amasis, what kind of study? And yes, my show shall be finished after this weekend, which is very good. I'm getting rather sick of having all these songs stuck in my head.
*dangles black jelly beans*
Should I let you have them?
