I'm home and bored and fighting with my mom too! Ugh... It's just too much boredom/blahness for a Friday night.
Hate days like this. Back to NYC tomorrow, though, then I'm meeting BwayTheatre11 on Sunday!!

Oy, BroadwayDiva.
Sorry for not answering your question, Emcee; my mom was hovering and forcing me to write for her. The answer's simple, though: her paper, which I'm typing, is all about schizophrenia as illustrated in 'A Beautiful Mind.' It'll make me sick towards the film.
And now I am tired and am going to go to sleep.
Goodnight, ladies. I'm going to leave you now.
Just call me Diva
Goodnight snaps!!
'night, Snaps!
I may actually take off when this movie is over, just because I have nothing better to do. I never go to sleep before one. Crazy.
good night all of the east coasters but for me i am still wide awake at a death defying 908 oclock

Good afternoon! How is everyone??

It's too big, but I want to keep it anyway!

Wow, Emcee. Your icon confused me for a minute, with its grandisimoishness.
Just pay attention to the cuteness.... and how much you can laugh at it.

*not sure who to vote for in the strange department*
Hi --- I got my Hair CD today! There's certainly some spectacular singing on it, including Adam's of course. I'm glad to have listened to the original cast recording first, as Nia suggested. The OBC singing is gentler and not nearly as diva-ish in a lot of cases, and there's also that intangible sense of community that was so important to the show. The new version showcases the music and singers more. Right now I'm enjoying the arrangements that stick closer to the original versions, but that may be just because I'm more used to them.
Anyway, it's great to finally have it.
Oooh, where can I aquire this HAIR cd?? If it has Adam singing. i'm there!
I'm pretty sure I've gotten quite a few votes in the strange department myself. I even have a plaid suit almost like that back home. Maybe I should bust it out.
Hope all is well for everyone!
Hi Penguin! EiR, it's available at sh-k-boom.com, which also has Adam's solo CD's. A lot of people ordered Hair a while ago, and the first shipments have started arriving, after some delays. So you should be able to get it right away. Adam sings "I Got Life," and a whole raft of other Broadway stars sing the other songs.
ugh, knowing that my CD has arrived but that I can't pick it up til Monday is KILLING ME.
Hi Chloe,
The Hair CD with Adam sounds really cool, I have not bought it yet, but it is on my list to get soon!
(and the CD benefits The Actors' Fund!)
It's beautifully recorded, really a great listen. Sorry Emcee - you have to wait until Monday?
One thing I liked about Adam's song is that he was relatively straightforward, except for a quite slow intro and a killer last note. He has such good taste as a musician.
Yeah. When we get a package, a slip is put in our mailbox, which we have to take to the package room to pick up whatever we got. The package room is closed on the weekends.
