My brain itches. AP Government practice exams, you see, in which I realize how little I've actually learned this year, as far as politics goes. That, and I'm hungry, and all we've got to eat here is tofu, bananas, Cheerios, and chicken broth.

Wow, tofu and bananas and cheerios and chicken broth is NOT a lot of food! And good luck on AP Government!!

Life's okay, except that Me + Math = disaster. I bust my ass to get a good grade, and then I fail. Ugh.

Well, I was looking at a banana and holding the container with the tofu, and I just thought... Why not?

The frying, though, is not going so well.

I hear you on the math. It's never been my thing, but I've always managed A's in it, up until last year, when I had the Lord of Hell herself for Geometry. It's all been downhill from there; so much for the stereotype.

What kind of math are you working at?

I'm doing algebra... I HATE algebra and I would prefer geometry any day... Or anything except math!! Math is evil!!

I initially tried frying just the tofu, but I'm a.) impatient and b.) a really awful cook, so I threw it all into a pan and tried it that way. It's a very mushy mess. Maybe it'll taste good on top of Cheerios.

Algebra. Grr. I don't see why we should have to understand Algebra. I just don't get it. You have my pity, and I'm sorry I can't lend my help along with it.

"The ninth amendment guaranteed the state of Florida certain rights in the case of Gideon v. Wainwright... due process rights, I think...representing the small over the large, for once... Betts v. Brady overturned... blah, blah, blah I have no idea what I'm writing about blah, blah, blah, something about due process rights in favor of Mr. Gideon, which isn't even the question, writ of certiorari... yadda, yadda, blah. I'm going to fail."
