omg - i'm still reeling - tonight was the best night ever - seeing adam and daphne performing alone would have been good enough - but it was amazing to see them perform the rent songs together!!!! ::sigh::

plus i got to go to the green room and meet adam and adam- not that i was able to put together that many cohegent sentences when talking to adam but i got pictures and signatures from both!!!!

i think i may faint - one of the best nights of my life thus far

You know what I found funny, during the Adam only part, I don't think one flash went off. Everyone must have been afraid of the Adam Death Stare or the possibility of him maybe walking off the stage. If pictures were taken during that time, people had the sense to not have their flash on. Of couse, all bets were off once Daphne came out. Also, when Daphne and Adam were on together, the flashes were on.

There was one flash. I turned around and was like "Oh my God. No. Don't they realize? He's going to kill someone."

I'm in Adam heaven right now. I'm listening to Civilian. I adore it.

That's the "review."

Okay, so Adam was very, VERY good tonight. I was surprised. People were at the main entrace AND at the stage door, so all bets of him running were off. I've never known him (other than when running late) to come to a crowd and say no. He was inside the entrance to the acutal theater with a rope in front of him... it was crazy. There were tons of people going insane over him. To say that *I* was well-behaved... boy. Anyway, he was great with it all, except for one thing. A girl really far back in the... I can't even call it a line... in the mob was like "Adam!!" and asked for something. I expected him to just nod it off, but he was like "wait a minute. I'll get to you." There was a little bit of edge there, and I was kind of scared for a minute. I didn't expect him to react. Anyway, he was a sweetheart, as usual. I asked him to sign Civilian and was like "this is my second copy, by the way." Adam: "Did you already... wear out the first one?" Me: "No, I ordered it online, but I don't feel like waiting for the mail!" Adam: "aww, well thank you!!" We took a picture, and I turned around to thank him. I locked eyes with him for one second and very quietly amongst all of the screaming was like "you're so wonderful. Thank you." All of the screaming was just drowned out for that one second.... it was so nice. It was really amazing to see him again. I missed him!

Meanwhile... on the other side of the world... I had to do a client presentation instead . Some people have all the luck.

Glad to hear you guys had a good time!! The impotant, unanswered questions are: did he get tackled? And did QM dance??

haha! I only saw QM before and after the show... not during.
And no, there was a big fat rope to prevent the tackling. Damned protective devices.

OMG- that was the best concert/show I've EVER EVER EVER been to!! Adam looked smashing-- I could have died and went to heaven right there!! He sang "Vienna Waits for You"- that's my new favorite version of that song!! And when he sang Glory??? OMG-- I was bouncing up and down in my seat. LMC was AWESOME. It's SOO cute seeing them together!!

Daphne ROCKED!! She had the greatest outfit on- I can't describe it. Her music is REALLY cool!! I'm going to have to pick up her CD. Her Out Tonight is....no words can describe it. So when Adam came out and they sang Another Day....I was dead. They're duet after that, I'm not sure what it was called-- was fantastic!! I don't think ANYTHING could top this concert!!!

Silly! Thats' because Adam can't dance. Does anyone else find his lack of rhythm really endearing, though? I loved his attempts at dancing during Another Day.

His "dancing" in AD was really cute! All I kept thinking about was "bouncing" and the HAIR video.

Oh believe me, I did do a lot of things ...

Did anyone else notice that during Glory Adam came over to my side (the left hand side), looked into the audience and suddenly forget his words!!! Well, now you want to know what I did to make him forget them!!!

It was so funny, hardly any flashes went off during Adam's bit, all of us were so scared. The minute Daphne walked on her fans started taking pictues. I was like 'you lucky bastards, and we'd get the death stare'.

I'm back. In rainy Florida. ::sigh::

I think I've spent the last three days in a dream...yeah...I'm still on a total Adam high though. Oh and I have stagedoor pics and pics of us and...pics of...other things, once I get them downloaded.

Is it me, or did Adam look like a happy little kid last night? It was SO cute...I even thought forgetting the words was endearing, which just shows you how crazy he makes me...ordinarily I'd KILL anyone who messed up Glory...

He messed up the words to GLORY, but I was in such a high that I couldn't even remember the words! Same thing in "Another Day".

What were the words that Daphne sang in AD when the words normall go like "There's only us, there's only this..."? Maybe I was really high or something, but I think she sang different words.

On a random note, I finally got my confirmation e-mail that Civilian has been shipped! (I'm still mad that I ordered it and I could have bought it at the concert). I can't wait to hear it!

Noah actually managed to cancel mine. Snaps for him. And Daphne sang the NYTW version of AD...don't know why, but that actually was an official version of it.
