Never thought what?
Ugh, I hope I didn't scare Kyle... how are we abbreviating his screen name? Glory? Blazeof?
I said OBOG lol.
The Enlightenment.
And yeah...I never thought I'd be a screaming teen either.
That I'd be a groupie, silly.
I'm sure you didn't scare him. I put OneBlaze and stopped just because I got sick of typing...
You guys, I had so many Adam moments today:
I was on my way downtown and I saw the 4 train (the one Adam's Civilian photos were taken on) and stopped at 14th street (also where photos were taken). I also went to Studio 54 for a bit. The box office for Pacific Overtures is open, so you can get into the lobby, and THANK GOD, it all looks the same. There are still chairs and tables in the theatre, too. That made my day. It was nice to go back.
That's my cynical definition of groupie, Emcee.
Yay for Adam moments.

You make me laugh, Emcee.
Oh, about Civilian- are there any good pics or a thank-you thing in the CD booklet?
And I think I'll just call him OneGlory.
Bittersweet?
There are some pictures, insomniak. One is the one on the flyer that I originally scanned and show you. I can probably scan these, too.
Yeah. Very bittersweet. I can't believe it's been almost a year.

I would like to see the pics. No thank-yous? I'm suprised.
A year? Do you mean Cabaret? Didn't that close in January? Sorry, I'm lost.

Aw, I'm sorry! It was great show... am I allowed to say that? I think so... the mods don't read this...
What did you say that the mods would find inappropriate?

It was fantastic. It's a shame that it closed.
Yeah, you're good. And there are thank-yous in the CD, too. I'll show them to you.
Cabaret closed on January 4th. Last Tuesday was a year from the first time I saw it, but it's almost a year since it closed. Premature *moment of silence*

It is sad. It was an intelligent show that had a lot of insight into the WWII era and the people affected and the music was great. The characters were well-written and the set was unusual and creative- the dark nightclub set on top of the warmly lit lower stage.

Blah. I miss it so much. One of the last intelligent shows that was around this season. I Am My Own Wife has a *few* similar themes, but it reminded me a lot of Cabaret.
I'll be painting my nails again green this January.

Why do all the intelligent, creative, entertaining, thought provoking, serious, brillant shows close?
I'm gone for over an hour and there's been 2 pages! Wow...
Of course I was handcuffed, though I was disappointed he didn't sing "I didn't recognize you without the handcuffs"... I think I posted that on the Raul thread awhile ago.
I love the pictures on the Civilian cd jacket. They're not as creepy as the ones on MP.
All the good shows do close. TABOO, CABARET, IAMOW, etc. And there's still stuff like Bombay Dreams out there.

Wwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! I HEART Cabaret...
Hey everyone to answer your posts from a while ago you may call me whatever you want there doesn't appear to be anyone to get me confused with so whatever
I know! Why must all the good shows close before I ge to see them? Didn't see Aida, Cabaret, Taboo, I've only seen the tour of Little Shop (Not that that was bad or anything... Anthony was awesome) and from what I'm hearing Rent on broadway isn't what it used to be. Also, I didn't get to see Tick Tick Boom Actually, while I'm at it, I've never even been to NY! Everything needs to just hold off on closing until I can get to NY...

You and me both, OneGlory... *sigh* I was in NYC for two short days last year and only got to see Rent. Not worth it. The tour is better.

O honey, after I send Insomniak a dollar, be looking for yours in the mail! We need to start you a collection!
Oh, you saw Anthony in LSOH? That must have been awesome! RENT on Broadway is still great. Emcee saw it a few days ago, so I'm sure she'll tell you how it is.
The last time I saw RENT, it rocked. I see it every year on December 21st, so back in December, it was amazing, except for a few of the cast members. Nothing compares to the OBC, but Jeremy (Kushiner) is a great Roger.
