Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do...

Insomniak, I'm really bad about writing reviews... maybe just a few random thoughts:
I think Emcee sort of mentioned it in her fantastic review but seeing Adam doing his own gigs just shows you how 'rock'n'roll' he really is. Everything about him, his voice, his posture etc screams 'ROCK STAR' into your face. He's very 'intense' when performing his own stuff: body almost shaking, knees slightly bent, head shaking etc. I just LOVE him doing his own stuff. That's what he is meant to do, that's what he's best at.
I mentioned this on the main board too but I'm sometimes so used to listening to his voice on various recordings that I forget to appreciate that wonderful and extraordinary voice he has. I just caught myself a few times today when I just went WOW and looked at one of the 'usual suspects' to check their reactions to the way he belted out certain lines etc and their faces confirmed my thoughts

I do love the rockstar hotness, and you're right about it being different hearing him live. It's better, there's more feeling and spontanity (sp?)- well, maybe that's not the right word, but it's not so calculated feeling.

yay! See, that was good, QM! I'm just a detail whore... but I cant' get over the rock star side of him. I love the way he just zones out when he plays, and it's about nothing but music.

You're absolutely right, Insomniak... and I think TGIF and I talked about it today how he changes the way he sings his own songs every time we see him. You know, he just stresses lines differently, uses a different notes etc.
