Thanks. It would probably be black-outlined and colored in the middle. My sister has that on her lower back with leaves (almost ivy like) around it. Its very pretty. It fades from blue to purple. She wants me to get a matching one.

Em- it really depends on where you get the tat.. believe it or not I am the biggest sissy girl when it come sto needles yet I have a tat and piercings..

yeah TGIF that's kind of important, since they are pemanent, unlike piercings.. Thank fully I have never regretted mine.. and it's been .... ummm 6 years now..

I just know how addictive tats are and I dont want to turn into a giant ink spot, so I keep saying no..
I keep hearing that, but it's not true for me, at least so far, and I've had mine for a while. After I got my one tattoo, I've been quite content. But who knows... I'm only 31. I can still get, like... 8 more within my lifetime if I want to, right?

Pretty much.. for a long time I swore I didn't want one, then I hit, my 20's and suddenly I do.. I waited to make sure I really wanted it.. Then once I had it I wanted another one.. it's bizarre.. I actually know quite a few poeple that are addicted to getting inked.. Yikes!!

My friend said she saw a fountain today with celtic knots on it, and the first thing she thought of was Adam, inadvertantly blurting that fact out to her classmates who were with her.

Well, camerangel, I have to admit I *have* thought about getting one more, but that's because - I have two very close friends who are painters/illustrators, and the guy who didn't get picked to design my first tatoo was a bit hurt, I think . So I told him he can design my next one, except I have been putting it off

Amasis-understandable.. mine was drawn by friend and she did a beautiful job.. and I have to admit part of the reason why I haven't gotten the second one is that I haven't found the perfect one.. but at the same time, I have that underlying fear of becoming and ink spot! heheh What's your current tat of?

I'm scared by piecings (I only have my earlobes done) but tattoos don't sound as bad, for some reason. Maybe it's because the needle doesn't go all the way through, or it could be because I just haven't had an experience to be scared of.

Diva- I'm actually scared to death of needles! it is no understatment when I say I turn into the biggest sissy girl.. it's horrible, and embarrassing.. but the tat didn't bother me at all.. The guy that did it actually complimented me by saying that I was handling the tat better than most of the guys he's done..
