Phys Ed? *shivers* That class is the work of the devil. I avoid it at all costs.

EXAMPLE OF INSOMNIAK DURING GYM CLASS:
*ball comes sailing in insomniak's direction*
*insomniak stands in one place, allowing head and eyes to follow the movements of the ball as it passes within a few feet of her*
insomniak: (to closest person) You gonna get that?
Closest Person: No, it's right by you. C'mon, we're gonna lose! Go run!
insomniak: I don't run.
Closest Person: *big sigh* Fine, I'll get it.

I hate gym. And I do have a reason for acting like that, if I get the ball we lose anyway because I'm so bad at sports and it often manages to hit me in the face instead of passing by.

ETA- Hm, I sound like a biTch now, if I didn't before.

omg i totally agree! i HATE gym! we were playing volleyball today and the ball was coming right towards me, but it went over my head and i couldn't get it. it hit the ground and everyone started to yell at me. stupid gym. my gym teacher is the spawn of the devil.

What did she yell at you for.. I say grrrr to moms..

We didn't have a choice either when it came to PE, I was kind of a special case..Long story short- I used to be a competitive Ice skater.. I injured my ankle really badly prepping for a competition. Had to give up sports.. Turned back into a theatre geek..

it does suck.. I miss it tremendously.. and my current figure shows that very well.. I find it hard to watch on tv though.. I get sad because it should have been me..

I was a very compettitive skater.. my coaches thought I would be in the late 90's olympics.. I can't remember the exact year now.. I've gotten used to crushed dreams.. I'll live, find another dream, just to do it all over again..

Wow, camerangel.

I've been a skating fan since forever, it's a family thing. I can't imagine how tough that must be to take, but it could be that you just weren't meant to do it. You must have some kind of calling, even if you haven't found it yet.

Thanks Nia.. whatever my calling is I definately have NOT found it.. not sure if I ever will, but who knows.. The ice skating thing, I used to be on the ice every morning by 4:30am, I would go straight to school from there.. Come home do home work and go back to the ice arena.. I lived there.. That was really hard to give up..

Anyway, you've got to have a purpose, that kind of dreamcrusher doesn't happen without a reason. Photography? I don't know. Do you skate at all nowadays, even recreationally or is that too much?

That's funny ponine.. one of the first things you learn to do is fall so you dont injure yourself.. My little brother is now 6 and two years ago my step mom put him in a buddies ice sakting class, so I did that with him.. man I miss it..
