Nope can't go back to it.. for one I'm too old at this point to do anything seriously with it.. and secondly the inury I sustained was permanently partially disabling.. so although to see me in a normal everyday situation you can't tell, I am legally partially disabled because of it.. I try to skate for fun sometimes but cant do it for long.. it hurts too much (pain wise)..

Photography isn't my dream, it's merely a hobby, that people think I'm good at.. (I think I'm average at it)

here is a link to the West side Story pics I did this past summer.. I warn you there are tons, just go to the tech pics, I think I shot like 3000 some odd pics.. I reccomend page 601- 624 in the uptown cast, it's the dream ballet and some of my favorites..

I suppose they are ok.. Photography is 95% luck 5% knowledge (on how to use a camera and light effects).. But thanks.. Did you check out the WSS ones?

yessireebob! they're awesome! i wish i could take pictures like that. i always end up moving at the last second and the picture comes out crappy.

Actually the candle was pretty easy to take, I was at a surprise party for my friend and was walking by a table and saw that picture.. I just see things differently than most I guess.. You guys should see some of my travel pics.. Boston, Alaska, Yosemite.. Unfortunately I dont have those digital.. the pics I take with my digital cameras are really just goofing around..

I'm so sorry about your injury. I think I've said it about ten times, but having watched skating for so long, I can tell how much it means to the people who do it and to have it taken away... *hugs*

Give it a shot sometime. I don't know much about how you'd do it, but see if local publications around you are in need of a photographer.

What I think would be cool would be to do the still photography for movies, and theatre (professional theatre not the youth theatre I currently do it for.. not that I dont enjoy this, but it's not the same)

I agree you should try your hand at getting you rpictures published somewhere...

Oh and nia I posted this yesterday night but am not sure if you read it (I don't even remember what thread I posted on)but my PMs weren't working yesterday and just wanted to make sure you knew I'm not mad at you for signing off

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

Oh good. I was wondering why you hadn't said anything.
