Emcee, he probably recognizes your face and silverwear by now and calls you by name.
Actually, he doesn't know my name. I haven't decided how to change that yet. I can't just be like "dude. I think I need to tell you my name," because I get the classic Adam Pascal "what the f*ck?" eyebrows. Hopefully he's blocked out the plasticware.
Iwannabe, I know that feeling. Actually, I DO talk about it for hours.... to people that don't care, but I do. My mother won't speak to me after an Adam even anymore. *le sigh*
Here's a *le sigh* for you:
I haven't seen Adam since I was 13
*le sniffle*
This thread will never die
That's too long, star2b! Let's go to SF, shall we?
We TOTALLY should!!!
Actually my mom's getting a new flight scheudule next year (tomorrow) and she might be getting the New York to SF route!!!
AHHHHHHHHH!
I was thinking about when you told us that when I was on the plane this morning.
It's actually happened before that my mom has meet some of my friends by being their flight attendent
It's always so funny
Where are you that you had to fly for?
I'm home now. I was actually in your home state!
Insomniak- taye wasn't rude he just was talking to a bunch of people. He actually said sorry to my friend and you shold have seen her face! She was clueless like who was this guy!
Oh yeah, I forget you were in FL!!!
How was the Sunshine/Lightening/Hurricane State to ya
It was alright. Weather was certainly better than home, but I was kind of bored. You can only sit around with family so much... especially when the family won't GO anywhere.
You should have come to Orlando
We could have chilled at the theme parks
I wish. I couldn't have taken the car, and I was a couple of hours away.
Bdwaygirl!!! Where the hell have you been?
I was looking for you during the gig.
TGIF and I felt pretty lonely this time, usually we have a lot of other happy people around us. Nex time, guys!
Just catching up with all posts here. Nice to see that I was oblivious of the 'OBC presence', I guess there was too much happening on stage
I was so convinced that the guy filming was from broadway.com. If I had known it was for Adam's personal use I might have added some personal 'notes' to the video

yay! I'm back! And I've read all 37 (or something like that) pages that I missed!
Thanks everyone for the reviews/pictures from the 29th... wish I was there (rather than in my hotel room with an awful headache)
:) Happy (almost) New Year!
Welcome back, ballerina!
QM, I'm really looking forward to Adam's appearance on The View now. It looks like it will be quite a big deal, with clips from the Knitting Factory show and a live performance. What I'm most hoping for, though, is an extended interview with the View ladies. They're always lively and could ask some good questions.

ooooh, Adam's going to be on The View? I missed this. What day?
Also, I found the following on broadway.com (under "New Years Resolutions"):
ADAM PASCAL
In 2004: Played the final performances of Broadway long-runners Cabaret and Aida, released the album Civilian and landed the role of Roger in the upcoming film of Rent.
Resolution for 2005: "I never make resolutions. I'm already perfect!!! Just kidding."
Thanks for that quote - I'll have to go over there and see who else they have.
Adam's appearance on the View is next Thursday, Jan. 6.
Chloe, I hear you Should definitely be a good one, and it's always good to see Adam getting some good promotion.
I myself am not too keen on the View ladies and would love to kick Star Jones' butt and strangle her with her 200 fur coats but that's a different story. Good for Adam though.
QM
as much as i hate the view, the interview should be fun. It will also be a nice last goodbye to our adam before filming.
Hi ballerina!!
QM - I'm not much of a fan of The View, either. I only watch when they have theatre stuff, which I guess they do decently often... so, props to them for that. But, this is great exposure for him, so YAY! And next time for SURE. I just hope that's not too far away... did he say anything about upcoming stuff?
Ah, the New Year's resolution. Modest, are we, Adam? He knows. it.
"It will also be a nice last goodbye to our adam before filming."
Except that he has one more appearance on the 8th, on the CBS Morning Show. I get the impression that this will be performing only.
I kind of like The View (though don't necessarilly *like* all of the women on it). Sometimes when all the different opinions are flying around it can be fun, and I always find all female groups comforting somehow.
QM, know where you're coming from about Star - though I haven't seen much of the show since all of her wedding brouhaha started going on. Can't think of her name, but the youngest one can get annoying too. She seems to embody the sort of prickly conservatism that's become prevalent among twenty-somethings.
Am I the only know who suddenly got the urge to try to get into the audience of The View on 01/06?
Emcee, he didn't mention anything about upcoming stuff. Actually when it sometimes got very quiet and he was tuning his guitar, I almost asked him at one stage. But yes, I'm a chicken, so left it at that.

Is anyone going to the view? I have school dammit!
I'd have chickened out, too. I really wish TGIF had told him he promised her a pony, though. I'd love to have seen the look on his face.
Oh, and yes. When I first heard about this, I went to the website for The View - apparently you have to put in for tickets something like 9 months in advance, and don't know what is going to be on the day you go. There is some sort of policy where if you show up at some ungodly hour, you *might* get in. I told my family I was high-tailing it to Manhattan before dawn on 1/6.... it didn't go over very well. I really do want to see him one last time, but I have to go down to see Patrick Wilson on Good Morning America (etheb and I actually have tickets for it) so I don't think my parents would really go for this one, too. Oh well. Can't have it all.
