I'd have chickened out, too. I really wish TGIF had told him he promised her a pony, though. I'd love to have seen the look on his face.

Oh, and yes. When I first heard about this, I went to the website for The View - apparently you have to put in for tickets something like 9 months in advance, and don't know what is going to be on the day you go. There is some sort of policy where if you show up at some ungodly hour, you *might* get in. I told my family I was high-tailing it to Manhattan before dawn on 1/6.... it didn't go over very well. I really do want to see him one last time, but I have to go down to see Patrick Wilson on Good Morning America (etheb and I actually have tickets for it) so I don't think my parents would really go for this one, too. Oh well. Can't have it all.

Just went over to The View website and wasn't encouraged:

With all those other people on, and the use of the term "musical guest," maybe there won't be an interview after all. But for anyone trying to get in, here's the info:

STANDBY POLICY
Anyone looking for tickets on show day must pick up a number from a View Audience Associate between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at our audience entrance, located at 320 W. 66th Street, just past West End Ave., NYC. Everyone will be asked to return on our standby line at 10:20 AM. We will not know if we have available seating for the show until 10:20 AM. IF we admit stand by audience, it will be done in numbered order. We may distribute all stand by numbers prior to 10:00 AM.

I already have a tape set aside - it's the same tape I used for his WB appearance. *sigh* I wish it made sense for me to go. I'd have to pay like 30 bucks to get into the city anyway.... and I might have to work. Oh well. QM, will chain him to NYC for me?
