I'd have chickened out, too. I really wish TGIF had told him he promised her a pony, though. I'd love to have seen the look on his face.
Oh, and yes. When I first heard about this, I went to the website for The View - apparently you have to put in for tickets something like 9 months in advance, and don't know what is going to be on the day you go. There is some sort of policy where if you show up at some ungodly hour, you *might* get in. I told my family I was high-tailing it to Manhattan before dawn on 1/6.... it didn't go over very well. I really do want to see him one last time, but I have to go down to see Patrick Wilson on Good Morning America (etheb and I actually have tickets for it) so I don't think my parents would really go for this one, too. Oh well. Can't have it all.
Well, I have just decided that I'm going to try to get in. I can but try, right?

I waaaaaaaanna goooooooooooooo!
Come to upstate New York and kidnap me in the middle of the night?
OK, you're tiny enough, you should be able to fit into my coat pocket.

Just went over to The View website and wasn't encouraged:
THURSDAY, JAN. 6
Don Cheadle ("Hotel Rwanda"); moms who've created unique inventions; author Amber Frey ("Witness For The Prosecution of Scott Peterson"); musical guest Adam Pascal ("Rent," "Aida," and "School of Rock") performs a song from his new album "Civilian."
With all those other people on, and the use of the term "musical guest," maybe there won't be an interview after all. But for anyone trying to get in, here's the info:
STANDBY POLICY
Anyone looking for tickets on show day must pick up a number from a View Audience Associate between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at our audience entrance, located at 320 W. 66th Street, just past West End Ave., NYC. Everyone will be asked to return on our standby line at 10:20 AM. We will not know if we have available seating for the show until 10:20 AM. IF we admit stand by audience, it will be done in numbered order. We may distribute all stand by numbers prior to 10:00 AM.
Yeah, it doesn't seem too promising. If it did, I'd try harder.
QM's coat pocket, make room for Emcee!
I would love to go to this, but I have school! Grrrr!!! Maybe I'll get someone to tape it for me.
I already have a tape set aside - it's the same tape I used for his WB appearance. *sigh* I wish it made sense for me to go. I'd have to pay like 30 bucks to get into the city anyway.... and I might have to work. Oh well. QM, will chain him to NYC for me?
'Oh well. QM, will chain him to NYC for me?'
QM will do no such thing. Have you seen the DEATH STARE? Have you seen the raised eyebrows? Have you seen the rolling eyes and the pouting? Nope, it's not gonna happen!
QM *scared*
This is very true. I guess I'll just have to come with you!
*bump*
Anyone still around?
Oh, I'm always around. The loser with almost 10,420 posts. *shakes head*
:-P
That is A LOT of posts in just over a year!
I know I could be shot for this but...
could someone tie up Adam, put him in a crate and mail him to FL
cuz really, I think that's the only way I'll ever be able see him perform EVER AGAIN
*I apologize for my bookofendingsgurl outburst*

Yeah... I'm just a little addicted.
Just changed my signature... to acknowledge Adam's amazing and very angry version of Civilian on Wednesday. Love him!
