Hi everyone!
I just got home from a bar-mitzvah and watched my tape from this morning... I got an interview before Beautiful Song (and all of that), plus a little bit of I'm With You before they cut to the credits, but my tape didn't start until 6:30 (the show started at 6 here)
But I must say that what I did see was great! Adam looked much more comfortable than he was on The View, and yay for the red guitar! :) (And yay for interview, I wasn't expecting that)

ETA- Caught up on all of the stuff I missed... yay for Emcee getting to go to the Rent set! *is trying very hard not to be jealous* Have a fantastic time!

Ballerina, it sounds like you got everything we saw here in NY. He didn't come on until 45 minutes or so into the show. Did you also see some footage of "Glory" from the original Rent promos?

yup. And they also played a little bit (5 seconds maybe?) of Glory while transitioning to a commercial, but it sounded a lot like the Rent CD...

Just curious - where are you from? The longer stuff sounds like it was down South... I think. Weird.

I'm from the Chicago area... where apparently they think telling us that we have a foot or so of snow (when it's been there since Wednesday, so everyone should know) is more entertaining than a musical performance...

Does the weatherman also do the national weather? 'Cause we got a little bit of plexiglass-weather too.
And then there's our channel five/ABC weather, where they play the most random background music (Charlie Brown Christmas in March is the most memorable)

I didn't either and in ny, they cut adam off way before the riffs. If i iremember, he didn't even get to the chorus! Oh and I can't stand the weatherman! FOr those in ny, i have to go with Janice Huff as my favorite. THat was random!

I am also home doing absolutelly nothing! I think i will watch a movie ans start reading take me out. I just finished w;t and loved it but i am too lazy to go and rent the movie now.

Hey thanks emcee for pointing me in the right direction.

So may I gush on how great he looked on the show? So much more comfortable than that suit on The View. And even though they cut out Glory, which they shouldn't have, at least we got to see a small amount of it. That's so much better than nothing at all.

He looked so gorgeous, and he was awesome. I'm so jealous of those of you who've had the privilege to see him live. Maybe if he ever did a gig in California I may be so lucky. But I highly doubt that. -sigh- Oh well.

Hotel California is on my tape! YAY!!

He looked gorgeous... and HAPPY. I was really glad to see that. He seemed right at home up there, and to be having a good time. None of those "please like me" nerves from The View. He's just stunning... and when he smiles, I die.

Apparently he did Glory, but it was only shown in some areas. They also showed OBC clips of Glory and Rent.
