I honestly didn't see anything wrong with his clothes on the show either - but then of course I wear nothing but jeans and tees 90 percent of the time myself.
:: officially excuses herself from any further involvement in Emcee's clothes choices for the big day::
There don't seem to be any clips of performances by anyone from the Morning Show on the CBS site, so I guess this is not going to happen, unfortunately. At least there are a couple of links for buying the CD on his page.
Yeah, I'm glad they've got the link up there. Hopefully the site will get a few random "hey, who WAS that guy?" visitors.
And I think he looked very cute on Saturday - my statement to my mother was totally general... I *think* she's been witness to the sparkly jeans... *sigh* how I love them.
AND NO! I need heeeeeeelp! You are not excused.
Sparkly jeans - I've only seen pictures - but they look more like metal-studded jeans to me. But they certainly are tight.
With regards to your outfit, Emcee, maybe you should start from the bottom up. Chances are you'll be standing around a lot outside on a somewhat chilly day, so you'll need comfortable, warm, yet stylish shoes or boots. Do you have any or is this a shopping item? (I may be putting more emphasis on the "comfortable" part than you do - at a certain age your feet just won't take any more.)
Yep. I've heard the word "bedazzled" used for those jeans, too. I started using sparkly, even though they aren't really. I do like them, and would very much like to see them in person one day.
Bottom up it is! And I have more pairs of shoes than is healthy for one person to own, so that should be easy. Maybe I'll get lucky and the weather will be warm enough for *gasp* FLIP FLOPS!
In all seriousness, though... do you think jeans would be okay? I really have no idea...
I absolutely think jeans would be okay. Most of the crew will probably be wearing them so you'll blend in. If you have jeans that you really like and feel good in, that's the way to go.
hi! Anywho about the radio, I heard one of adam's songs was played on 104.3 fm in ny. It is Q104. I think it was a special local show but it was great to know that they played one of his songs!
Ok, jeans are good. Yay. *shudder* MY HAIR!
Gah. I'm being such a vain teenager about this. I guess the hair depends on the weather, so no use figuring that out now. I have a painfully obnoxious head of curly hair, but if the weather is nice I can straighten it.
Hi jen. When was this, recently? I remember something about radio play but it was a while ago.
What's obnoxious about your hair, Emcee? Didn't Adam say he was especially intrigued by Daphne's wild hair? I think really curly hair can look great, like on Bernadette Peters. I have a neighbor who does her hair similarly, and it looks really good.
Chloe, yeah his song i think was on maybe a month ago. I am not sure exactly when, but to me it doesn't matter. If you live in Ny, i am thinking that Fuv (Fordhams radio station) would play his music.
Yeah, a college station makes sense. I don't know how to check for music airplay - maybe that's something to look into.
my guess would be to check fordhams site. They actually play pretty good stuff for a radio station. I generally listen to cds but sometimes i'll listen to fuv.
And amasis, you'd better look out. QM says "DEAD MEAT!"
At this point, QM and I probably have sufficient materials to blackmail each other, so I dare say that both of us are quite safe .
I'm just slightly disappointed that CBS doesn't have the clips online. Oh, well. Reading about it was good, too.
<-- took me long enough, but apparently I became a legend sometime yesterday.

Congratulations, amasis!
I googled around a little, but so far have only found that Adam's music has been played on a couple of Broadway-oriented satellite stations. However, I did come across this review on Talkin' Broadway, the first "official" review I've seen:
Adam Pascal has released a surprisingly listenable and captivating follow-up to his harder-edged debut album, Model Prisoner. Entitled Civilian, Pascal's new CD was inspired by his children and by the effects 9/11 had on his family and on the world. Written primarily by Pascal (with a little help on some tracks from Glenn Sherman, Matt Gallagher and Jim Abbott), the songs are by turns driving, engaging, thoughtful and insightful - qualities that greatly surprised this rock-phobic reviewer. Vocally, Pascal sounds better than ever, with enough of his trademark hoarse raspiness to enhance the emotions contained within the song (but not so much as to affect pitch or delivery). Highlights include the highly radio-friendly "Something of Ours" and the tender (in a rock sort of a way) "I'm With You."
Thanks, Chloe! It's a pretty gracious review, so yay.
And I forgot that Adam comment about Daphne's hair. *ponders*
Mine's not that crazy, but I've got big, spiral curls and a LOT of really dark hair. It has the potential to look good, but lately I've been liking it better straight. I'm not sure if I've sent you a picture or not. Ah, well - I shall figure it out!
Thanks for the suggestion! Footwear depends heavily on the weather, I guess. I'm really short, so I've gotten myself to build up the ability to wear heels for long periods of standing time with relatively little pain. Very useful, really!
.... I need a shopping trip. And a shopping buddy. *bounces*
I guess you haven't heard about my token flip-flop accidents. I'm probably not the person to put in stillettos; I will probably be severely injured....
's okay. I've got time.
I just watched my Adam tape again... to bring things back to topic.
Ooo shopping.. I love shopping for shoes..
I haven't been here in a while.. how is the adam love going?
Keeping it strong, cam. Just under three months til my next fix... NTG and I decided today that we are *actually* addicted. Might be bad, no?
Cabaret - high heels that tied up to his ankles. Spiral staircase. I thought he was going to fall down and hurt himself. I was ACTUALLY worried.
See? I can relate anything to Adam.
*is a loser*
'took me long enough, but apparently I became a legend sometime yesterday'
You've always been a legend to me, Amasis... even when you were just an understudy.
QM
Oh, QM. You're so sweet. Where is the princess, anyway?
me too, two of my favorite things :)
Where is the princess, anyway?
The princess is here. Just slightly overcome by that incredible support QM just displayed. *sniffles*
