Hey guys, what's up? I"m going to a ball tonight, yay!
ooh, have fun, Allie!
That pothead comment always sounded to me like it was probably during high school or college. I hope so, anyway.
Thanks for the RENT story!! I've never seen that before!!
I hope too that he doesn't smoke tabacco..
but yes anything you smoke damages your vocal chords.
You're welcome, Diva. It goes way back and doesn't seem to be collected on any of the Rent sites, the way so many articles were.
Favorite quote from someone's blog:
"Its very hard to be Cute, Sexy and Hot all at the same time but he does it so well."
Is there a difference between sexy and hot, though?
"Is there a difference between sexy and hot, though?"
I think there is.. maybe it's just me though
Hot's all about looks. Sexy is about sex appeal... I always figure it's more the way someone acts and carries themself.
I've seen that quote. So, so true.
Maybe you're right - sexy is what he does, and hot is what he is.
*nods happily*
couldn't agree more Em!
There you go Chloe..
And then there's that cute, goofy, dorky side... and.... and... and...
/end useless blabbering.
No, no, it's not useless, keep blabbering!
*squeaks*
A few days ago a fellow BWW'er sent me a PM asking me all about Adam, and his personality, etc. I think I wrote her like 5,000 words (my entire "story," etc), because she asked.
*feels like a nerd*
yes we know that is the noise you make when you think or talk about Adam hun.. we are looking for adjectives here..
As for your pm.. well they asked for it.. and you aren't a nerd.
*finds PM*
Well, she asked! Sh-K-Boom should really hire you to write their publicity.
Here's one more quote and then I'll have used up what I've got for a while. This is from a London review:
"...the first encounter between Adam Pascal's Roger, the songwriter who sings of his longing to produce just one great song 'before the virus takes hold' and the teenage Mimi, sparks real erotic excitement. Her propositioning Light My Candle captures a mood of sexy, wistful yearning more powerfully than any West End musical song this decade. And Pascal, the show's sexy star, is its dynamic focus - a lyrical power-house of anger, dejection and eros."
Did anyone around here see him in London, I wonder?
oooh, I like that description. I think QM *might* have seen him in London. Don't know where she is, though.
Okay, here's what I tried to make coherent in describing Adam, following an interesting conversation about fans becoming friends with actors and age gaps, and such.
I saw him in AIDA's first year. It was his 30th birthday, and I met him after because my parents thought it would be neat for my little brother and I to stage door. I was scared out of my mind. I remember people giving him a candle for his birthday, and fawning like there was no tomorrow.... I thought they were nuts. Look how I ended up. He's about ten times more beautiful in person that pictures can ever do him justice for. He's wonderful. He's really confident, and that's where the 'egotistical jerk' rumours come from.... he's gotten really, really good at working the crowd, but underneath you can see that he still gets a bit nervous and freaked out. He's very, very friendly and an absolute doll. And, underneath that sex god body, it's like a little kid hiding in there. He's so goofy and quirky. If you're nice to him, he'll do almost anything you ask. If you're not, he's snarky and he'll b*tch right back at you. He's really just a normal guy. What you see is what you get.... he's brutally honest. I found him for a while seemingly unapproachable because... well, of who he is. But.... he's a doll.
So not coherent, but she asked for it! Appolgies for incoherence; it was about three in the morning.
That description is SO true!!
just read the articles. I know what is like to have horriable allergies. I finally get allergy shots and believe me they help! Adam is a doll and yes he is confident but it is fine to be confident. I wish i saw him in London but i never even saw him in RENT! In fact the first time i saw adam was in cabaret. AAhh remembers the night clearly!
::melts::
Em if that wasn't coherent, I'm in trouble because I understood it..
*mops the puddle of NTG and gives her a CUPCAKE*
And yeah. I suppose it's coherent, I'm just hard on myself about writing. :-P
Great description. Don't know what you mean by "not coherent."
Without having anything concrete to go on, I guessed that he would brush off people who came at him with an attitude, rather than trying to win them over, the way a more insecure performer might. As QM (I think) said, he has a healthy ego.

Case in point; is "not coherent" even proper English? I guess it should be "incoherent." *shakes head at self*
even if you don't think it was coherent i could understand what you were saying. Then again i would have also bablled on and on if someone asked me about adam.
