Y'all should hear it in person. I speak INCREDIBLY fast, so it's just like a wave of jibberish.
::former English major self intervenes::
"Not coherent" and "incoherent" are interchangeable really. You might say "I was *not* coherent" for emphasis. For a demonstration of the meaning of these terms, see my previous post before it was edited.
*headdesk*
I slept for four hours... I *should* know better.
*falls asleep*
Aww Em.. it's ok we still love you.. no go take a nap..
Then I won't sleep tonight, though. At least that's what my mom is telling me. She's trying to keep me awake... she thinks naps aren't good.

You speak at the speed of light too, Emcee?
And sleep is overrated- stay awake today and your overdrive will kick in and you'll get through until tonight. Naps give you headaches.
Nap NOT good?? WTF?? I love naps.. I dont get them often but I love them.. I think npas should be a part of everyones day..
Hi NTG how are you
if i take a nap during the day, i won't sleep at night. I only sleep during the day if i am sick.
I'm all for the 15- 20 min power nap..
zippy I keep meaning to tell you I love your avatar.. eeee Fragle rock.. I have a hairstyle that is remiscent of Red.. and I have a friend that reminds me of boober
ahhh thanks! I remember when i was younger, i didn't have the disney channel and whenever i went to my friends house, i would always beg to watch it. I also recentlly found one of the episodes on video in my basement. Myabe i will watch it for old times sake.
"You speak at the speed of light too, Emcee?"
People have been yelling at me to slow down since I was in kindergarten. I don't think it's that fast.... KILLS my public speaking skills, though.
Naps... I take them at school if I absolutely need to, but I'm usually okay. *eyes fall shut*
I should be kicking into overdrive shortly... then my posts will REALLY be incoherent.
ahh the good old second or thrid or tenth wind.. Love those..
yup cheers to second and third and all the other winds when doing hw!

Emcee, I've seen people who can't make sense in type and you're not one of them, even at your worst. It's ok.
I do the power nap thing sometimes, cam, but I don't really go to sleep. I try to stay semi-conscious so I don't fall into too deep a sleep to wake up from. It's just good to recharge my batteries.
i've been wanting to say this to you for a while now insomniak,i am sorry that i can't type and am often incoherent when typing!
speaking - speak very fast too and slur words together b/c i'm trying to get it all out so my mom is constantly yelling at me know that i spoke better when i was 2 than now b/c now you can't understand what i'm saying b/c it's fast and i don't annunciate a lot. i can't stand it when she bugs me about it but i know it's something i should improve for interviews and stuff
sleeping - i wish i could take naps! my friends and i have always insisted that you need them in high school. high schoolers need naptime and snack not kindergardeners.
it always works that the day after you get no sleep (1-3 hours) you have all this energy and then the day after that, no matter how early you go to bed the night before, is crash day. i hate that. but it tends to work well since the stay up day is usually before a test so then you have energy to take it.
Nia that is exactly my take on power naps.. you dont really sleep but you aren't really awake.. but when you get up you feel so much better

Alix, that is how I function... minimal amounts of sleep, powernaps and overdrive.
zippy, I don't hate you or anything, don't worry about that. If you want to try to fix some basic grammar problems, you can always copy/paste your post in Word and spell-check it first. We all make mistakes though, I know I do.
*whines*
I WISH I could function on so little sleep. My life would be so much more productive.
oh i know you don't hate me lol!! and thanks for the advice.
yea, it's pretty crazy - i feel like school has become a battle to see who can stay up the latest to get all their work done and then who can function the best w/ the least amount of sleep the next day to well on tests and stuff.
off to dance now. talk to you all later!
have fun Alix! and so true about staying up late. One 2 hits, i am out!
Hello everyone. Just catching up...
I wanted to see where Amasis and I crossed paths . And sure enough, it was some sort of dirty joke.
QM - I've done that as well, actually. But it wasn't a dirty joke *ahem*. You were getting all giddy about 'something' and I calmed you down.
Thanks for the article, Chloe.
Did anyone around here see him in London, I wonder?
QM did. As in, multiple times . I don't know if she'll pop in today, but she said she really liked the London Mimi a lot. And it was me who said 'healthy ego' - not that it matters, QM and I think the same thing a lot.

Check this out, guys. I don't really care; I've said my piece. But it's sometimes sad to remember people like this exist. And I'm aware that this person is probably really young, but given my work with teenagers, it makes me even sadder.

I wish there were more hours in a day. Or even better, I wish the body could function normally on little sleep.
My teacher this year actually let us take a nap during one period when she didn't want to teach-- I wish schools would let us take naps all the time. *grumbles*
