Ask me on Sunday again, Emcee... then I know if it was a bad thing.
QM
LOL! I'm going to try to go during the week... not bad for ME. Ask my bank account how it feels, though.
Well, if you start looking for flies on stage you slowly start to realize that it might have been a bad idea :)
QM
lol - very true. Then, you may have seen it too many times!
Did I just say that? lol, 9/5 will only be five times for me... not too bad.

Good point, Undiscovered. How many times was that again??? I couldn't quite understand at the Palace
QM
Actually, I hear that a lot in NY... people telling me they like my accent that is, not telling me I have seen Aida far too many times. Although that happens too!
Thanks Undiscovered :)

Wait, what kind of accent does QM have?
Well, people can never really guess what accent it is... I hear all sorts of countries, never the right one though! Lived in too many different places I guess.

Where have you lived? I just have a boring American accent.
"Any more visits before the last show?"
Oh, Amasis... believe me, you don't want to know!!! I am so going for the overdose next week
Oh, but QM, I *do* want to know... because I'm living this through you guys since I'm stuck here in... in... Ok, maybe it sounds too unappreciative to say I'm stuck on a beach, but still. There's no Adam here. I did see this surfer who looked like Adam the other day, though. That was an interesting moment...

All over Europe.
American accents are not boring, insomniak... in fact I'm aiming to begin 'rolling my R's' during my time in the States. HA!
Yes amasis, it is not very nice to say 'poor me I'm stuck on the beach'.. in fact, let me change that to *uses cloth to dry her eyes*, you will ask 'what's that for' and now I reply:
'To dry my weeping eyes... oh, forced to live on the beach, what hardships. I know, I know, you want to go and see Adam and say that you have met him but instead you are stuck on the beach. Oh, it's a great tradegy!'
Now Amasis you will tell me I have gone to far etc... well, let's just say, at the end of our conversation I'll be walking off giving you the 'talk to the hand sign' whereas you continue to crack up on WILL FORGET
I have seen it far too may times.
QM
He'd better freakin' hit that note on Sunday. I'll cheer for him right then and there if he does!
Amasis, a surfer that looks like Adam?!?! AHHH!
Ladies, let's be fair... he always cracks up on the WILL, but his FORGET his always spot on, no?
QM
And whyyyyyyyy did I tell her this?
It IS hardship, QM, living on a beach without being able to see Adam sing, I tell you. *mopes*
Yes, a surfer who looked like Adam. Isn't it nice? All tanned and muscular, with the dirty blond hair and the stubbles. I didn't ask him to sing, though. So I don't know about any potential similarities in that department .

LOL - probably better than way, Amasis.
I'll start thinking happy, note-hitting thoughts for Adam NOW.

I hope he hits it and ends Aida on a good note, no pun intended.
Amasis, I'm trying, but I just can't muster any sympathy for someone living on an exotic island.
Emcee... you mean you don't think it would have been a good idea for me to walk up to this surfer and say, "Excuse me... do you mind singing something for me? Rock, preferably?"
Insomniak... you're not trying hard enough. *sniff* (runs to corner to cry)

"And have you heard of a musical called Aida? Perhaps you could try Elaborate Lives? And can you sing it to this spork for me, please?" (Sorry to be predictable, I just could not pass up the oppertunity)
*to amasis through gritted teeth*
I'm so very, very sorry that you are stuck on a gourgeous beach surrounded by Adam clones and you can't make it to NYC to see Aida again. Pity the child.
Probably not, amasis. But then again, I don't really have a good track record for asking people to sing.

No you don't... but we love you anyway!
Guys, I'm just imagining all the suspense on 09/05 just before Adam sings WILL FORGET.
If he hits it there will be spontaneous applause and cheering.
If he doesn't hit it there will be oooohhhs and damns etc.
He will think 'what the f**k.
QM
Ok, Ok... I'll stop feeling sorry for myself, insomniak. Especially cause I know you're in the same position. Thanks for trying, though.
Although just to be clear: it's not an Adam clone unless he can sing like Adam, and as we know I haven't established that one quite yet.
And, if just for the hysterical applause that will follow it, I hope he hits that note. It never bothered me when I did see AIDA and he cracked. But just for the last night...

I'm pretty sure he'll know what they're about.
lol, thanks insomniak!!
I'm going to be so nervous for him before that note... on Wednesday I was like "come on, come on, come on" but he missed it... rather badly. There were definitely other people were like "aw, man" and some were like "wtf was that? ugh."
Oh well... and yeah, he'll know.
