Adam on Leno - someone posted this on All That Chat - is that where you heard about it, bdwaygirl? I'm confused too, as he certainly doesn't show up on the Tonight show website. Could he have been a last minute replacement? Maybe it was actually another west coast late night show. I'm going to check around.

It looks like we'll have to be regularly checking for TV appearances now!

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

GRRRRRRR. I'm still tres pissed off that I missed this. And that he sang. And that my day is really screwed up.

But I'm seeing that Spelling Bee something or other play tonight, and there's a lot of buzz surrounding it, so yay!

Me too, Emcee. I hope you enjoy the play though. Really envy you students who can get the cheap tickets - the last thing I saw was "Wonderful Town" (for the full $101) right before Brooke Shields went in. I really enjoyed Linda Mugleston.

Anyway, on reflection it must really have been Leno, as one or two other people on ATC also seem to have seen it. Thank god for reruns. It sounds like he was a "musical guest" on at the end of the show again, as no one mentioned an interview.

My friend called me at work this morning and mentioned it. Did she think to put a tape in? Of course not!

I saw it on All That Chat, also.

They need to start interviewing him!

And the play is for a class - it's basically a overview sort of theatre class, but there's emphasis on criticism, and my recent epiphany has been that I should take up theatrical journalism. *shrugs*

Theatrical journalism sounds like a brillliant choice for you, Emcee!

Bdwaygirl, did your friend say anything about what he sang? No one's mentioned that.

One of the ATC posters said that Leno reruns come a week later at 2:05am, but just to be safe I'm going to check out tonight's rerun and see what's on.

It also occurred to me that Anthony must have noticed if Adam hightailed it down to LA to do the show, so maybe he'll say something about it.

I was thinking that Anthony might say something. If he doesn't, I might just have to ask! Rock it, Adam! (whooo hoo!!!!)

Unfortunately, my friend wouldn't know one Adam song from another! Blasphemous, I know! Wait. I take that back. She would know Glory.

Hey. This wasn't publicized anywhere. Don't piss me off!

Read like a page back on the angst thread to see what's wrong. I typed out a whole long dissertation becuase no "real" people were currently around to hear it. I'm all screwed up. *cries*

I'll look in a moment.

May I just take a post to thank people here? Every day seems to bring new drama to the other 'cliques' of this board, but the Adam Lovers somehow remain calm. (excepting that one time, but that was a few months back) Kudos to people here for being the oasis of bww, away from the storm.

I think you should thank the man himself. He has a very calming, soothing effect that just keeps people smiling. *puts on Civilian*

Come on, Adam. Work your magic.

Taxes. Dreading it this year because of a stock loss that I get to declare this year and have no idea how to do it.

Emcee, go listen to "I Got Life". That song always helps, for some reason. And if you *cough* listen to a certain rendition, you'll feel great.

Right, March is coming!

Sorry about your schedule, Emcee - it feels worse when something that you've gotten just right gets screwed up than if it's just screwed up from the start.
