For a movie, you could do that while it plays not full screen, or certain DVD players in the computer have a screencapping option. Depends.

It depends. I know when I try to screen cap (aka using my "Print Screen" key) it works almost 90% of the time.

One of the programs I have that I can play videos it doesnt work. I can copy it, but when i try to cut it and move it, it won't work. Its a b!tch at times.
