Fake tears and a fake halo. QueenDrama, don't even try.
I think New Orleans would be nifty myself- might be warm too, a nice change of pace from the frigid city. There's also a lot of history there if you like that.
I LOVE history, I'm really pathetic when it comes to the whole culture thing. I'm really into that.
And why am I not surprised you like New Orleans, Nia? Isn't Mardi Gras there at the moment... and we all know you bat for both teams anyway.
*hugs Emcee back while wiping off her REAL tears*

I think I only swing that way if Catherine Zeta-Jones is on the other side of the fence... really, though, New Orleans would be very different and there's a lot of interesting indigenous culture there.
*hands fake tissue for fake crying*
HAHAHA, has anyone ever seen the Geico ads on TV? One of them starts with 'Hey, let's get campy'... why, oh, why does it always remind me of Adam?
I'd prefer New Orleans to Chicago at the moment, Nia, but it's just crazy there with Mardi Gras going on. I guess, it'll be Chicago for me.

I've seen those! HA!

Oh. My. God.
Insomniak, I swear, that is the best damn avatar EVER. It even tops all the Raúl Esparza ones I've ever seen...
Great, now I'm laughing so hard that I'm crying!
Edit: "A pineapple for you."
That avatar is probably about half my fault....

Emcee, how so? I came up with this on my own, thank you very much. Don't go taking credit!
Chrys, thank you. QM, why do you want to avoid Mardi Gras?

I love it!!! Someone get me a cuban cigar...
Emcee likes to take credit for things, Nia. Let's kick her arse.
I've seen Mardi Gras too many times in London already, it's not special but just a pain in the bum for me these days.

But all of the fruit references are purely my fault. I have the pineapple fetish, I drank the orange juice, etc.
ETA - don't kick me!

Makes sense, QM. Any good shows playing in Chicago next week? (Not a bad theatre city, Raúl started off there if I'm not mistaken)
Emcee, this idea was all mine and you know it. Don't make me kick you with QM...
*applauds Nia*
Yes, he did!
The Producers are in Chicago at the moment, isn't Hunter still with the tour?
*pokes a pineapple next to her*

Subtle!!?? I saw that avatar out of the corner of my eye for a quarter of a second and immediately thought of maleness. But maybe that's just me.
I'm just back from seeing Rent at the Nederlander - had a great time.

I love Chicago. If I ever graduate from college I'm gonna move there.
Chloe, wasn't it your first?!

Wow...your first?
How was Cary?

I'll take that as a compliment, Chloe. How was Rent?
QM, no Hunter, but the Chicago tour is GREAT. I saw it and I highly recommend it. And stop molesting my pineapple!
Yes, it was! It was fascinating to see how things are staged. I was a little out of luck in that Cary Shields was out and Colin Hanlon played Roger. Though he's a good actor and singer, I don't think the role's quite right for him.
*gasp!*
No Cary?! Uh oh... hopefully he'll be on if I go tomorrow. If I do it'll be my mom's first time, and I want her to see Cary.

I wanna know what Cary is like. I'm thinking about taking a trip over there soon...
I have no idea why he wasn't there. Frenchie was also out. I felt Drew wasn't bad - didn't detract from the show - but wasn't as strong a central character as Mark can be. Everyone else was really excellent. Karmine Alers started out as a really tough Mimi, but was heartbreaking at the end, especially on Goodbye Love.
I looooooooove Karmine. Except for the weird thing she does in Out Tonight, I love her.
