Whoever makes post # 25,001? But I think we should leave it to Nia or Emcee to start the new one.
Good, locked isn't so bad. This thread comes up fairly soon when you Google Adam, and I can imagine a lot of people checking it out after the movie comes out. That's always assuming his stage presence carries over on screen. It's hard to tell from the little he's done so far.
I reeeeally hope it does. Really really really. Otherwise, the result may not be good.
I love that we're on Google, by the way.

It was just after I discovered RENT. I started with Anthony (because I've always loved the geekier ones), and then moved on to Adam. And this thread came up. I don't know how long I lurked before I joined... not very long, I don't think.
ooooh, I'm listening to One Night in Bangkok.
*falls over laughing*
I lurked a long time after seeing him in Aida. It took me a while to be able to acknowledge how obsessed I was becoming!

That song cracks me up! I want to hear THEM do it!!
Adam decided that it might be nice to try out his rap skills, Chloe.
Yeah, I've heard it, just didn't know what specifically was cracking you up. I enjoy it a lot.

I love it. He did a good job! Remember the conversation about massage parlours, and the "Massage Parlour Dance?" That's um... where it comes from. After you catch my cold, you'll be able to see for yourself! It's more the image of it all that makes it funny.

OMG that's too funny! Heh. I've seen Josh Groban rap before: "Nessun dorma, nessun dorma, tu pure, o principessa"
Oh right! The line at the end mentions "massage parlours" - there are *motions* that go with that?!
ROTFLMAO. Josh rapping has got be even FUNNIER than Adam rapping. Sad part is, Adam's good at it!
Ah, yes. There are motions. Apparently our dearest darling decided that these weren't going to be erm... everyday massages.
Oh dear. Now I really must see this. And Chess was before Cabaret, so it's not like he'd already gotten... ideas.

Josh's rap was during a little AOL interview. The girl was like, "So you're going on tour with P. Diddy, are you?" And he started joking around saying they were, but P. Diddy won't return his calls. Then he raps.
That's pretty funny, Allie! He has more of a sense of humor than I pictured.
His "ideas" probably carried over. The line goes "but the queens we use would not excite you, so you'd better go back to your bars, your temples.... your massage parlours" - use your imagination. Charming, Adam.
Allie, is this online anywhere? I want to see!!

Uh... *avoids eyes* He's only doing it in jest. So, not so much.
"use your imagination"
My imagination has gotten far too much of a workout lately already.
