Well it seems my professional instincts took over here, as deciphering mumbled dialog is part of what they pay me for. Though so far I haven't had any luck making out what he says in the first Chatterbox when he and Seth are rearranging themselves for Sherie to come out. Adam says something off camera, Seth puts his hand on his hip and gives him a "tsk, tsk" look, and Adam says "That's our favorite joke." I'm dying to know what that was.
Agree about Adam and foul language - on him it just seems to fit.
Oh, how disappointing! Now when my tape arrives, I'm going to have to try to figure it out. If you can't, though, I probably can't.
It fits, but it's not a turn-off. It's surprisingly endearing. Then again, he could do just about anything and I'd say that, wouldn't I?
It not only fits, but I love it. Which one of us wins the "dork" award here?
I think I just got the wrong thing in my head to start with on that other comment, and now it's like looking at a puzzle the wrong way. Somebody should be able to figure it out.
I think it's a tie? Someone asked me if there was anything that he'd do that I *didn't* think was cute. My answer was this: laying on the floor wasted and throwing up isn't cute on ANYBODY. So, there you have it.

Heh. You know it's funny. Ewan McGregor was my first big giant celebrity love. He curses a LOT. People were like, "Don't you find that a big turn-off, the cursing?" NOPE!
But isn't he Scottish? That's probably why.

Yeah, I think that's it, Em! Like Irish Colin Farrell. He's just as bad... but not nearly as attractive, I don't think.
Yeah, Adam has no excuse... other than that he's cute.

Right, Allie! I think it's a turn-off for me if someone seems to be doing it as some kind of affectation, like to show how hip they are or be deliberately offensive, but with Adam it's just his way of expressing himself.
Wasted and throwing up: nnnnno, not cute, but I'd probably have a pathetic desire to clean him up.
By the way, I'm somewhat Scottish myself.

I'm sure I'm a bit Scottish somewhere, being from Nova Scotia. But mostly Irish I think.
I'm basically a northern European mix, with a big dollop of Scots. One branch of my family was Canadian in the 19th century.

... I also may be partly Viking... Dad's not sure. That would be cool, though!
Where does he think the Viking connection comes in? That *would* be really cool.
aw I'm nothing exciting like that at all!

Our last name. He thinks it may be Viking. Or maybe Newfoundland. But I think Newfoundlanders came from the Vikings. I'm not exactly sure!
I think they did, Allie.
No one can say being Jewish has exactly been a walk in the park the last 2,000 years, though. And you do share your heritage with someone who has generated nearly 20,000 posts on this thread!
Good call.
Speaking of which, I can't believe we're almost at 20 THOUSAND.

Dedication, insanity, whatever.
I think 800 pages will be 20,000 posts. Didn't another thread get deleted when it reached 1,000 pages? That could happen here fairly soon.

It didn't get deleted, but it got locked, and then a new one began automatically.

And who gets the pleasure of starting the next Adam Love thread? Nia again? Or perhaps someone else?
I think it will start automatically - that's what Rob said, anyway... I think. With the adult thread, Matt just beat him to it. That's when this whole system was still getting worked out, I guess.
But if not, can I do it??!!
