I had to give a "thematic presentation" about a book in the Odyssey... and the theme of the book I got was pre-judgment. So I came up with this activity- I play a clip of a song, ask people if they like it, and then tell them that it's from a Broadway show. I figure a good portion of my class will prolly like the songs I chose (Glory, Out Tonight, What You Own), and will be surprised to know that they're from a Broadway show. I'm pretty sure this will work; I'm testing it out on my brother and his friend right now...
