I'm working on the Adam on TV clips... and if the PBS special ever comes back on, I can try making a clip of the Rent part. But I don't know how much my poor little computer can handle.
*pats computer*
I love you computer, yes I do... so don't crash on me now, I love you too much...
Hey, it worked for the CD player at my dance studio.

*checks chocolate* *has milk chocolate and the cool non-milk chocolate (which is really good mixed in with raw cookie dough)*

wheee, chocolate. We can pretend.

You know, though, it's only been three years since I first saw RENT. Well, almost three and a half. It's not really that long, if you consider it. *shrug*

Ooh I feel like an oldie...I saw it...I know I was in 7th grade...so probably somewhere in early '99.

December 1, 2002.... because Adam left AIDA the following Summer, so June '03. Yes, I remember weird things. So less than that, actually.

If the PBS special ever comes back on, I'm cancelling everything, planting myself in front of the TV with a blank tape in the VCR, and snarling/screaming at anyone who tried to change the channel.

Every year on Tony night, I tell my brother he's not allowed even in the same room as me. Usually I have friends around, but last year it was just me and my ice cream on my couch. My brother laughed menacingly from all the way across my house when Raul didn't win.

Did you smack him? I would have... I can't say I've ever watched the Tonys! Isn't that sad? Actually, are they even aired on Canadian TV? They must be...

I wonder if they are....

When you're as strange as I am, the Tonys are like the Superbowl for the rest of the world.

I'm definitely going to try to find them this year! I can't imagine them not being shown on Canadian TV.

Heh. Funny story about when Adam was on the CBS Morning Show. Apparently my grandmother watches the show. And she saw him, but had no idea who he was (she sometimes tapes things she thinks I'd like), so she didn't do anything about it. drumroll, please She vaguely remembers his performance too! I thought that was kind of funny, in a Talk-to-your-grandmother-more kind of way.

My younger brother laughs at me when I watch the Tonys. And I laugh at him (though in a kinder way drumroll, please ) when he watches the Superbowl. So I guess it all works out.

I don't think I'm going to have the Adam on TV clips up this weekend, but I'll try to make a transcript of his interview from CBS. Not the same, but at least it's something for while you're waiting...

Hello, lovelies. Who else is in tonight? Any speculation regarding the likelihood of seeing QM or amasis? It feels like they haven't really been here for a while.

I thought amasis said she wouldn't be around for a few days? QM may drop in.

Woo! Birthday cake. Yum. Me NOT being 19 yet means I can't go out with people when a birthday happens, but there's no age on being able to enjoy chocolate cake in public!
