I think Emcee and I both really, really want to start the thread, but she's too afraid of sounding biTchy so she says she'll let me do it. Then I feel bad, so I say she can. This pretended niceness is building tension, I'm telling you. If we keep up this courtesy, we might never get a new thread made.

And thanks for caring, cam, but I'm feeling crappy again today. And family is coming for the weekend to take up space. I plan on staying sick in order to avoid being sucked into too much 'together time'.

*coughs pathetically* Thanks. My history teacher could use some of your sympathy. He wouldn't even give me a cough drop today while I was hacking up a lung in his class. Between disease, makeup work and other things I must do, I think I'll be able to avoid my family for most of the weekend. We just saw them too over Easter, I have no idea why they must visit again so soon. This is the side of the family that has a deer head on their living room wall, by the way. What does that tell you?

Ack, I just wasted like two hours because my cell phone was broken. My technological life is falling apart, I tell you. Yesterday I spent an hour on the phone with IBM tech support because I f*cked up my IP address, and today I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon, then had to treck downtown to get the phone looked at. *grumbles*

Deer head. Yes. They also like deer jerky and have no cable. Beauty and the Beast was my favorite Disney movie though, so maybe if I think of it in those terms I'll be ok.
