Hey guys - I just found out my job might be transferring me! Woohoo!

You have to do an essay on the first day?
An essay, that's nothing. I had to do a lab practical the first day.
Apparently. Someone help me out: In an essay of about 500 words, discuss something you have read or viewed in the media (i.e., films, TV, newspapers) that shows the impact on our daily lives of the use of computers.
I'm actually thinking of writing about Disney Channel's movie Smart House. THAT is how awesome I am.
Um how about the fact that computers are now ingrained into the tables of the writing class you're in...
I've never heard of Smart House, but the film Minority Report would work too.

I was just talking about that sort of humour that we didn't show you yet...but we will...probably at the striptease time, maybe.
Minority Report! Perfect. Thanks, Traci. See, I won't fail this class because of you guys! I'll ace it. haha.
Glad I could help Kerrie.

Kerrie - how about hurricane Katrina? The Internet has been used my Americans all across the country to coordinate survivor lists. People have been able to list those that are missing and then, people in other states have been able to go those postings and provide information on their locations. People have posted to say they're alive.
It has been an extremely useful tool in dissiminating information to those who have been affected.
EDIT: CNN and MSNBC have been toting those sites heavily in broadcasts and online news reports.
Talia and Traci are geniuses. I'll see which is easier to write. Only 500 words too. That's nothin'.

I here! So yeah apparently my 12:00 class doesn't start till the 19th, way for them to inform us as opposed to just putting it on the door.
Nice having a pretty easy day, and I'm not sleepy despite being up that early...
so how's it been going, did I miss anything? will catch up in a bit...
Hi Greg! Hope the show's going well!
