Liz, haha on the Brooklyn CD. The CD really isn't like being in the show...it's insanely loud at the show and gives you headache, the CD isn't that bad. I actually have "Once Upon A Time," I like that.
Heh, speaking of Bklyn, and relating it to this thread, the night BSo dragged me there was the night after we were on the cam, so we went back to the DRS stage door to talk to well Norbie to see if he got my poster, or if they got certificates, etc. So then Greg came out and talked to us a bit and asked what we say and we said Brooklyn and he was like oh how was it? and I kinda cringed and made a noise, and I don't quite remember but he said something like that's not a very good face, or I'll take it you didn't like it, something like that, maybe a tad funny. We had headaches.
But anyway Liz I'd pick the score over the book of that show in a heartbeat.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
