As Jan from Grease says..."Brusha, brusha, brusha..."

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

I wonder if it is an american or a european joke?

Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

Over 200 pages and over 5,000 posts today!

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Ohh, excellent, well thanks for sharing Greg!

I wrote an editorial to my school paper about how badly Bush and the government handled the crisis and how much the gov. committed to the death toll.

17 days?

I am listening to Sweet smell of success. I love Brian D'arcy James. He is gorgeous.

Oh wow, I'm embarassed to admit this, but gotta do it. Now I'm writing a paragraph on how Lane employs intelligent humor for DRS. I mentioned the "mutual joke," and uhh, figured anything can be considered intelligent if I didn't get the joke at first. Well, these are two I'm still not entirely sure of, umm, someone want to explain? (Yes, I've seen the show 8 times, never figured out what they mean, I am very red.)

The line where Lawrence and Andre are discussing Jolene and Lawrence asks crude and Andre replies well she is a little pushy, what's the joke there?

Also what about when at the beginning after losing at the casino Muriel says "well maired" or something?

Ooh, figured out the oil joke, it's what I thought it was.

edit: crude is a type of oil.

Wait, so she says well maired but means to say meered, that's the joke?
