I love his ties too. I really wanted to wear one when I was up in his d.r but didn't. I don't think the tie is new. Just the shirt.

see ya!
Wow, that limo is weird!
Broadway Legend Joined: 8/8/05
hehe you totally know i would if i could.
where are you from? i was under the impression you lived near the city..maybe not.
its so weird though cuz i'm used to people going to the city whenever they wanted, but here in tennessee no one has ever been...they think its nuts that i've actually been to broadway...theres one girl in my sorority that is OBSESSED with broadway..loves DRS but has never seen it...its just a totally different group of people and different way of living away from the city...
so i'm glad that i grew up going to shows (and that my first show was Rent with Norb hehe) and i feel sooo lucky now that i realize not everyone had that chance.
ok i'm done with that subject now lol sorry for the strange rant.
Well I do live in NY, but Upstate. I'm like a 6 hour drive away, and being a poor college student stops me from going more than once or twice a year.

Ali...the same here.
In Budapest they don't even know which Broadway show are on nowadays...they will do "The producers" next summer and they said that it was this year's big hit!!!

oooh thats very true. wow 6 hours is a long ways. at home i was maybe an hour and a half. it was amazin. love it.
Ali, you are so lucky. I hope to be able to go to school in the City after I finish at my current one. Hopefully.

traci where do you go now? and where are you looking at? like, to do what? just curious
Right now I go to Monroe Community College. I'm not sure where I'd transfer to in the City. I just know I want to go to school there. I'm studying Forensic Science.

wow forensic science..thats awesome
i'm looking at transfering next year. its just...it would be hard to leave here after only a year...but if i apply and audition at a school in nyc, and get in, i would really have no choice but to go there. thats an oppurtunity you can not pass up.
i mean, its soooo expensive to live in the city that there is no better time to do it than while in college cuz that way you just pay for your dorm. its a good plan
My thoughts exactly Ali. I've always said that I would give anything to live in the City, but in reality I know that I would never be able to afford it so going to school there will be my only way to make it happen. Are you studying theatre/performing arts?
Broadway Legend Joined: 8/8/05
actually i'm in music ed with a minor in theatre.
heres my plan...
i want to go to school in the city for the rest of my years in school, get my teaching degree with a minor in theatre...not acting, but i wanna be a dresser (like Jack) or do hair and makeup..that kind of thing.
so then, i'll get a job in the city teaching, find an affordable ****ty apartment and look for jobs on off-broadway or broadway (obviously not aiming for b-way right away) but tryiing to find some sort of crap job in the theatre so i can start working my way up...but be teaching while i do so that i can make money and afford to live in my ****ty apartment lol
and i know this can be done because its what my cousin is doing right now..shes a math teacher in the city. but she wants to be a teacher. i think i'll just be a teacher as a means to make ends meet. thats my master plan
That seams like a pretty good plan to me. And reasonable to make it happen. Best of luck to you.
What age group do you want to teach?
Broadway Legend Joined: 8/8/05
i would like to teach a band or choir (depending on whta they need) in high school ideally..middle school would be good too. just not little kids..i don't wanna teach the basics, ya know? i can't do that lol i don't have the patience or the desire..or the talent to work with little kids. its not something i can do well lol
