I've yet to see Chitty. Actually I don't know a lot about the show. I know the storyline, but that's about it.

Oh I love Dick Van Dyke. I wish they would put his show back on Nick-at-Nite. And, of course, Mary Poppins is like the best movie of my childhood (life, etc.)

I've only ever seen the movie 'Chitty' and never really had any desire to see it on Broadway, except perhaps, to see Raul.

And as far as Spamalot is conserened. I'd never see it again save for winning lotto, but I'm glad I did see it. Even if it's just to say that I have.

Okay I had an epiphany(ha ha, Sweeney) today...

I've seriously been playing my clarinet the last 3 hours since whenever my last post was...I played Wicked highlights, Miss Saigon highlights, where I was able to fill in some note,s and played through WSS by memorization. Now, there's a song the Rumble in West Side Story which has crazy high notes that are all over the place and wants you to play everything as fast as humanly possible, and I mean humanly possible.

Both times I've played the actual show, we've played it much slower. But recently, I've tried to get it more uptempto, and...I got it today! Still will have a bit of a mistake here or there but I played the Rumble the way Bernstein wrote it

And then I realized how much I love playing and it hit me...why the hell aren't I double majoring in music? So that's what I'm gonna do. I'm still "planning" to go to grad school for psych, and if nothing else a college degree in music will certainly help me get some community/regional/high school pit gigs...and I leave the door open for...music to go further. Who knows?

I'm very happy now.

HaHa, that's exactly what my friend did. She's been a major in Biology for 3 semesters now, and like a week ago just randomly desided she was going to double major in Music.

I was never kicked by a cow but I was bitten by a llama. But not today. Today I was bitten by a venomous spider.

That's the truly scary part. I went to bed just fine and I woke up this morning with this horrible red, puffy, oozy, swelling on the back of my leg. The good news was that the doctor said with MORE ANTIBIOTICS (this is my 6th different antibiotic since 9/19) it should heal up all right. The bad news is that the spider that bit me IS PROBABLY STILL IN MY BED!!!! Now, I've had venomous roommates before, but they were always the big kind. You know - big enough to borrow your clothes. But this little sucker has me thinking seriously about moving out!

that is really scary! I would throw that bed out of my house.

I can imagine how you feel...when I was 14 (11 years ago...OMG) so there was a program about snakes and there was a true story that a family lived with a snake in a block of flat and the snake went down to the toilet and came out 2 floors above when someone was about to go to the toilet...

I am not kidding...it took 2 years when I finally don't look down before I sit on that damn toilet. It was horrible every time...because we are too living in a blck of flat.
