::shrug Cat:: what class are yours for? mine is for an english essay writing class so I mean, we learn certain types of essays(definion, compare/contrast) and then he just gives us an essay to write. Our process analysis(where you describe an unusual process) is the one he let us choose what to write about, so my essay was "How to study for a huge test at the last minute"
But...depending on how you feel about philosophy, you may be thrilled you don't hafta do my huge research paper. The thesis is "there are other ways to know besides empiricism"...meaning I hafta argue for rationalism, which says we know by intuition, instead of empiricism, which says we know by experience and observation(wouldn't you know I'm actually a skeptist who thinks we know nothing...) It def IS interesting...but hard to do the research. When I read the works I can only read a couple minutes before I get headaches, and can only read a little for a time b/c I hafta spend so much time telling myself what this dead guy is saying...
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
