Hello everyone. I must say tonight's show (Friday) was excellent. I would say it was the best of the five I have seen. Everyone was in top form tonight, especially Norbert. Boy did he try to get John to laugh. Plus, he succeeded twice. One during the Ruprecht scene where he just finishes the face liking, dry humping stuff. John was seriously about to laugh, but Norbert puts his finger over John's lips and shakes his head (translation: don't you dare laugh!). Then during DRS, before the song began, Norbert got John to crack again. Later on, during the "I hope you can say that when I am old and grey, I just did" scene, Norbert and John started laughing again.

There was also a little blooper. During the hotel scene where they are making the bet and as John proposes it, something happened in the pit and there was a loud sound from one of the drums. Norbert then ab libs during the scene, saying something like "Yeah but is everything okay with the drummer down there?". The audience went hysterical. Even the butler went to look down to see what happened. That cracked John up and then Norbert, who completely forget his next line. Finally he yelled, "HOW MUCH?" and the play went on. But John then messed up his lines later when Norbert asked him what happens if he losses the bet. He started laughing and it took him a minute before he got to the "You can only work the following territories" bit. Ah, Isn't live theatre grand?

Oh and I saw Kerrie at the stage door before the show. Greg came by and took her upstaris with him. Oh Kerrrrrie, Kat and I spent the rest of the night deducing what you two were doing there. Care to share? XD

OMG Ryan, this review is awesome...congrats boy for having a great time. (of course I wish I was there)

Also saw the movie Proof tonight - I really enjoyed it.

Kerrie- Yeah I thought so. Alas Greg came out of the door first tonight so Kat and I didnt have a chance to talk with him. Oh well, next time for sure.

Wow Ryan, I don't know how you found that but thank you soo much, that was awesome! I also don't know if it was in NY how I missed it hrmph...had only seen the show 3 times then. Such great stories, and so great that Norbert and Sherie were there, telling stories, being funny, etc. I've heard bits and pieces, like I knew Like Zis Like Zat was added in the last minute, etc. but it's great to have the whole perspective.

Annie, do whatever you want w/ the Raul pic...I'm assuming you're talking about the cropped photo right? If so, save it soon I just put the cropped ones up to post it here, will delete it from the site in like a week. I dunno, there's something w/ hands/arms I don't get...you all love Greg's arms, and everyone is obsessing over Raul's hand in that pic. ::shrug:: my thing has always been eyes...wait, I lied. The second time I got Derek Jeter's autograph, when I took my baseball back, I kinda...errr, felt up his hand. That was rather lovely..

One more thing I forgot broadway.com has a video up of the Brilliant Mistake concert. Small clips from the concert and interviews, Sherie and Norbert's songs are featured in some of the clips, enjoy! (Also it's sad, especially in Raul's interview, you can see Anthony in the background, I'm a couple steps to the right...if I moved a bit...I could have been seen on the video...and semi-famous...hrmph.

No problem. I found it randomly actually. I was looking for some Norbert quotes for the NLB's DRS Page- Norbert's Intepretation and I found that. Fantastic read. It shows just how intelligent and smart both he and Sherie are too.
