Well I wouldn't doubt that I will be in the city A LOT during January so let me know if you're planning to go, have a feeling i may be able to trek down lol.

Good moooooooooooring everyone...as my sis pointed out...we only need to sleep four times till xmas (you have to sleep 5 because for you 24th is not a holiday, but for us it is!)

So, I am not a christmas mood anymore...although it was snowing all night (thanks Cat)

. Maybe a little carols for a cure would help but I have been listening to it for thousands times so I think it's time for a little DRS finally (just audio of course!).

I am off to swim.

I finally finished my DRS south park pics (yay Sherie's done)

We have tickets!!!! On Friday Jan. 6 at 8pm, my sis and I will finally get to experience the fabulousness that is DRS firsthand! We are both so so so so excited. And if any of you end up at the show that night, I would love to meet up with you before/after/stagedoor etc. Send me a PM if you're interested!

Can it be Jan. 6th NOW please?

Edit: Fingers crossed that we have the full cast that night! Not that understudies aren't great, but there's nothing like the originals....especially when they're as great as Greg and NLB!

And a strike it is... sigh. I had promised Annie I'd deliver something for her tomorrow night, and I'm still going to try to keep that promise.. I'm going to do my best to catch a cab to get uptown. We'll see how it works out.

Getting to the airport should be fun on Thursday!

I saw RENT again today with two friends. There were only three other people in the theater. One person left as soon as Angel showed up in drag. How closed minded people can be. Then the other two people were old men. Akward.

Oh my goodness, but I am having a TERRIBLE case of pre post-holiday depression. I even had a major crying jag right in the middle of the day.

I have to work tomorrow but after that I think I'm going to do the one thing that might, just possibly, break this morass. I think I'm going to COLOR MY HAIR. (Not red. I'm too far gone for that. But maybe brown with a lot of nice blond highlights.)

Did Kerry try to walk uptown this evening? She might freeze!

One day I walked from the Liberty Island ferry dock to Times Square. It was spring and the weather was gorgeous and I was younger and I would NEVER EVEN TRY to do it again! LOL.

I hope for all of you that this mess gets over QUICKLY. I don't know what I'd do if our Metro shut down. We really are dependent on them!

I'm working tomorrow but maybe I'll see some of you on here tomorrow night.

saw Family Stone. Not as funny as I thought but very interesting. all about the worst way to meet the future inlaws. watching the old Yours Mine and Ours. i think it;s funny than the newer one. night all!

I think I'm going to try to get a cab tomorrow night. Might as well. I have cards from Annie to deliver, so I really can't just not go. And I really wanted to be up that way on my last night. So we'll see what happens.

Maybe I'll wake up in the morning and the strike will be over.

Gee Kerrie why would you think you'd get lost? Just b/c you couldn't even give me directions to drive from 13th St. to essenially a couple blocks and maybe avenues to Pace?

My friend's mom drove in today at like 12:45 and said the traffic was fine...so...maybe I'll consider driving Thurs...ulgh, decisions, decisions.

I saw Rent tonight too Traci! 21 people in our theatre...wait I don't know if that counts me and my friend...anyway my friend never saw the show all she knew as she told me is "it's about a guy w/ aids..." she said it was good, enjoyed it, would rather see the show...but mentioned she didn't like seeing a guy in drag, guys and girls kissing. I don't how to feel about that. She said it she still appreciated and understood the love between like Angel and Collins and it moved her but and has no problem w/ gay kissing but would prefer not to see it.

I don't know how to react to that...she made it seem like it was no different than her not liking a movie. I feel it's more than that, I mean she had no problem w/ a guy and girl kissing, why have problems in this case? I was prob overreacting at first but it's still a tad upsetting, I dunno. Should i be a little upset and like that's wrong(but know there's nothing I coudl do) or view it as diff. strokes for diff. folks?
