You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Good morning. My grandma is off to the post office for a while, so I'm alone, which makes me happy. I love having the house to myself.

Liz...he's 20, by the way...and I haven't met anyone in my drama class yet!

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Hmm, I'm decent with coming up w/ theme songs. In 6th grade, we had a project where he had to take a current event and put it to the tune of a well-known song. I still remember exactly what I came up w/ and would like to share it. The current event took place in I belive it was 1998 when a beam fell down in Yankee stadium and it was closed for 3 days and the Yankees for a first played their game at shea during the day and the mets played at Shea during the night.

To the tune of Gilligan Island's theme:

Oh sit right back on you'll hear a tale
A tale of two cities
It started out in Bronx, New York
Had to do with the Yankees
Had to do with the Yankees

On top of Yankee Stadium
There was a heavy beam
The beam then fell onto the field
Which ruined the game for the team
Which ruined the game for the team

Our tale now moves on to Queens
The Mets' home that is Shea
They let the Yankees play a game there
Which resulted in great day
Which resulted in great day

(can't remember this line though it might have had something to do with Strawberry hitting a home run at shea)
It was a sight to see
But the best part about it all
Was someone there was me
Yeah someone there was me

Great song huh? (Hey, I was 12). Hmm, that reminds me of the next year I had to work with two friends to write a play. We ended up writing a play called "Bat Matt"(yes my friend's name was Matt) and he had to save the Palisades Mall(huge mall where I live that was recently built around that time) from sinking. Great story.

WHAT?? And I somehow did not know this? I don't know if I could be friends with you anymore...

Well, I'll be nice. Met fans disgust me more than Red Sox fans, in fact Red Sox fans were really sweet after they beat the Yankees, gave me hugs, the Met fans were the ones taunting me. So I suppose I will forgive you for your horrid taste which you probably can't help.

But just remember...you may have won the most recent one...but we still have 26. :-P (I love being an arrogant, obnoxious Yankee fan)

Oh BTW, a couple of you know, but aside from the fact that I'm on aim all the time often doing nothing too productive, my aim name is yanksrule2a25. I tend to be forgetful and lazy, as I mentioned in the just for the record thread, so I'm sometimes bad at IMing others but feel free to whenever, I usually spend all hours of the night doing nothing but fooling around on the computer and aim.
